Dismantling the Unitarians definition of One

Divine Unity and Biblical Monotheism

Mark 12:29 quotes Deuteronomy 6:4 to affirm: “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.” In a world of many gods, the Gospels announce the same uncompromising monotheism found in the Old Testament.
James 2:19 reminds believers: “You believe that God is One. Good!” The early church held to one living God against pagan polytheism.
1 Corinthians 8:4–6 contrasts idols with the truth: “There is no God but One… yet for us there is one God, the Father… and one Lord, Jesus Christ.”

Christological Oneness with the Father

John 10:30: “I and the Father are one.” The term secures both the distinction of Persons and their essential unity, informing Trinitarian doctrine.
John 17:11, 21-23 records Jesus’ high-priestly prayer that His followers “may be one as We are one,” rooting Christian unity in the relational oneness of the Godhead

So as we see above God is not a number meaning 1 person but a Unity of One with the Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

Just like Jesus prayed for His disciples to be One, the church with many members to be One- it’s Unity in diversity with complexity.

And in marriage the two become One representing Gods plural One in Unity. And a family unit is singular with several members.

These and many more biblical examples expose the errors of the Unitarian doctrine of God showing its false, a heretical belief.

hope this helps!!!

The Shema in Hebrew declares a Plurality that is One

Hear O Israel YHWH Elohim, YHWH is Echad

Elohim is Plural
Echad denotes a Unity of more then one single unit

Thus we have the Hebrew Apostle John, who walked with the LORD as Adam did, declaring in the very first verse of his account of the True & Undefiled Gospel = "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God"

Amen and we see the N.T. Shema from Paul which includes both the Father/Son as Co-Creators the One Lord/God of the bible in 1 Corinthians 8:6.

@DavidTree it’s amazing , sad but true how the spiritual blind cannot see or understand what’s before their eyes in 1 Corinthians 8:6. In fact it’s their pet verse to deny the Deity of Christ when it actually affirms His Deity. The same with John 17:3. John 17:1-5 actually affirms His Deity as the Eternal Son and equal with the Father as the source of eternal life in the passage. It reminds me of the seeing they will not see and hearing they will not hear. As it says they became dull in their understanding

Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it.

Paul defined the Shema, the One God, as the Father.

1 Corinthians 8
4So about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that an idol is nothing at all in the world, and that there is no God but one. 5For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many so-called gods and lords), 6yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we exist. And there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we exist.

And Jesus said this is the most important thing:

Matthew 12
29Jesus replied, “This is the most important: ‘Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.

Since the Bible defines the one and only God as the Father, don't you think it's important to believe Jesus and Paul about how important it is?

Wrong again

JESUS identified His FATHER as God

The Apostles identified JESUS as the LORD

If you call the LORD JESUS CHRIST a liar, you will surely not enter His Kingdom.

JESUS Says: "No one has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father."

The Shema says there is one God. Paul said there is one God. Jesus said there is one God. Paul said the one God is the Father. Jesus said the only true God is the Father. There is nothing in the Bible defining the Shema as a multi-person God. Thanks for pinging me @civic .Check mate.

One Lord Jesus Christ crashes and burns Unitarianism.
If we believe Scripture we SEE:
One FATHER/God
One YHWH/Lord
One Holy Spirit

Amazingly, all THREE were with JESUS when HE walked this earth!!!
Amazingly THEY all Speak the same Truth
Amazingly THEY share One Name that is given to us in Revelation

Unfortunately, many choose to keep blinders on and remain in unbelief.

God, Jesus, and Paul disagree with you. The Biblical account of God being one is explicitly said to be that the One God is the Father. It's not complicated. One means one person in this particular case, but you make it complicated because you reject the testimony of Jesus and the apostles.

You have a very narrow explanation of the Bible and you don't understand context. I already showed you the Bible says the one and only God is the Father. You reject it. How can one have an honest discussion about the Bible if you don't even really believe it?

i never reject nor argue against the LORD or against His FATHER/God or against the HOLY SPIRIT

If you reject or argue against any One, then you reject and argue against ALL THREE for THEY are ECHAD

Not according to anything the Bible says. I don't believe in your non-biblical version of God.
