Avoid : These so called : = "Teachers".

A good list but not everyone will agree with all of them.

Yes.

You are always going to have Catholics, Calvinist, and people who believe they can "lose their salvation" who will have issues with the list.
You will also have people who do not consider the Bible to be their final authority, to have issues with that List.

placing SELF Righteousness in place of Jesus

Hello All,

The above quote sums up the original post. Strip them all of their raiment, wound them and leave them half dead. Then avoid them passing on this side and that side instead of having the compassion of Jesus on them by bounding up their wounds, avoid them instead of sharing the oil and wine with them to help them heal, avoid them instead of carrying them to a place of rest and care, yep the above quote sums up the original post indeed! The place and compassion of Jesus is Love thy neighbor as thyself!

Blessings,
Love Fountain

No.

That's not what it "teaches".

What its teaching is.... "the reason many are sick", is because they have not understood that the "Lord's body" is their HEALING.
So, they take communion, not understanding the power that is found in that revelation, that they don't comprehend.

= to take the Communion unworthily, means that you take it not understanding who you have become in Christ.

See, ALL the born again, have been "made righteous" and exit as "one with God".. so, Salvation that we have received makes us WORTHY, and when you dont understand this, you are taking communion with the idea that you are not worthy, and that is why you wont be healed.
This is why "many DIE".
Its because they dont understand who they are "in Christ".. and when you dont understand this then you can't have any faith, and without that, Healing will never come.

So, the born again are to always take The Communion knowing they are made worthy, as every Son/Daughter of God, born again, is absolutely made worthy.
= Take the Communion in THAT Mind, vs...>"am i worthy"... which is the wrong mind.
Seems to me the passage clearly details negative consequences and judgment accrue to the one who eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way

1 Corinthians 11:27–31 (NASB 2020) — 27 Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 28 But a person must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For the one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not properly recognize the body. 30 For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number are asleep. 31 But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged.

Hello All,

The above quote sums up the original post.

Many Christians place the 2nd commandment above the first.
Its not.

So, its true that the Born again are "known by their love", and if this love is not manifesting, then that is probably because they are not born again, but are just water baptized, religious fakirs.
Its also true that Heretics, once revealed as Heretics, want to play the "you are not showing me any love"... game... to try to hide their deeds, and that is a : Fail.

And one more.

When evaluating the "love" being show by a "christian"... you always want to find out if they are selling Calvinism, or Legalism, or Mormonism, or some other "ISM">. as this is not showing love to the Brethren, when they try to DECEIVE the Brethren, with their CULT theology.

They, being deceived, do not understand this, but YOU, who are not, will understand it perfectly.

Your theology is not correct. as usual.

Let me explain how you take communion "unworthily"..

First, you have to be born again., and then take it not understanding that God's Son's Blood and Death, has made the born again always worthy to take communion.
And when you don't understand why, then you'll take it in IGNORANCE, regarding redemption,.. regarding the Blood Atonement... and that is how you "take it unworthily', @TomL .

Um all you did is express your opinion of how one takes communion unworthily without addressing the issue I spoke of

Now do you have something that addresses what I stated?

Do you have a shred of proof to justify your opening claim?
