From all I have ever heard or read... on other forums and this one... one does not get into that predestined mode but hearing about it. God either has picked you or has not.

So would god have picked someone, say when they were in grade school or even younger but chose not to draw them to Jesus until they were old, and looking at the future with the idea that they best get their burial things lined up as there is no one who would do that for you.....

And then all of a sudden one day they have a light bulb moment and they say "Oh my gosh. @brightfame52 was right all along but hows come I never knew God was drawing me to Jesus. What mommy told me when in grade school and great grandma
said about Jesus and God loving me was all wrong... but here I might be in my last 5 or 15 years of life and there is no way to tell
if God predestined me or not... what if I am one of the reprobate. That is in the West Minster Confession of Faith.... so my church believes that... but never talks about it.

Now.... @brightfame52... put yourself in this scenario....one that might allow 5 to 15 more years of not worrying if ones eternity
is predestined to hell.

Miracles have power to bring about faith

God blinded men to prevent their belief. Why would God blind someone who had no ability to see?

Your verse simply shows man needed to hear from God

You havent showed one verse that says man has the abilty to believe on Jesus, yet I have showed you n 6:44

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

This means no man has the ability to come to Jesus Christ, and come here is the equivalent to believe. See here in Vs 35

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

People were watching and Jesus had to show them who he was. God the Father did not draw them to Jesus. They had to decide for themsellves.

Verse 17 goes on to state that God sent Jesus into this world not to condemn it but to save it. He did not come to save a few preselected people who were already marked for salvation. Why would Jesus come and die a brutal, torturous death to save people who were already saved?

2 Peter 3:9 – “He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

1 Timothy 2: 3-6 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.”

Some Christians are dogmatic and espouse their belief that man does not have a choice and that God has predestined certain people to become His children. Scripture does not support this belief. We know that God knows all things and the hearts of all people. He knows but does not dictate but rather gives us choice to respond to the call of God, through the Holy Spirit. This is holy ground and something that our finite minds cannot understand. Deuteronomy 29:29 – “The secret things belong to the Lord our God….”

So nothing changes, no scripture says anything about anyone, gender doesnt matter, having the ability to believe in Jesus, Jesus Himself says No man or person has that ability Jn 6:44,65
