Turn away from Calvinism.
Jeremiah does not call the Law God was going to put in the inward parts of covenant Israel and Judah "Messianic" Law. The only Law that was in existence was the Law of God (or Moses.) In other words, the Holy Spirit is THAT LAW which God was going to put in the inward parts of covenant Israel and Judah - both kingdoms being identified as those with whom God makes New Covenant with. There are no Gentiles mentioned or named in the New Covenant Jeremiah prophesied. So, clearly you are adding to the prophecy of Jeremiah when you claim Gentiles are mentioned as being included in the New Covenant Jeremiah prophesied. The law is done. Jesus ended it. There is a new law, and that is the Messianic Law. There is no more Mosaic Law. And yes, the Gentiles are a part of it as well, despite your attempts to make God a liar.
That's very convenient. If it's not chapter and verse, then it is chatter and worse. Believers follow the Word of God and God is consistent in His Word. There is nothing in the Old Testament that supports Gentiles being heirs of the Abrahamic Covenant Promises nor were Gentiles ever under the Law God gave Moses for the children of Israel (Abraham's seed.) This is why Saul says:Paul also said that the fact that the Gentiles would be a part of it was not revealed in the Old Testament, but was revealed to the apostles.
Saul's good news (gospel) to Israel is stated in several forms. One is found here:You have changed Paul's gospel. You are anathem, you know.
False "churches" like Mormonism and JW's use that tactic and gain many false worshipers to their ranks.Paul also said that the fact that the Gentiles would be a part of it was not revealed in the Old Testament, but was revealed to the apostles.
OK.I'm not sure where you got that from, but do you have scripture to back that up? It is all assupmtion, considering there is no record of the Ark in the Babylonian records. It is quite possible that God took the Ark.
There is a new covenant, however, the old covenant was in action until the institution of the new. The Jews, in their legends, have this pretty much spelled out. The scapegoat of the atonement sacrifice would wear a red cord, which, according to rabbinic legend, would turn white after release, symbolizing the atonement of the people. However, in 30 AD, the cord stopped turning white. It is a legend, so grain of salt, however, they aren't believers, so such a legend seems to carry some meaning. They also talk about the light in the tabernacle no longer remaining lit, which some have said shows that the glory of God had departed the temple. The light was related to the glory of God.
Jesus is the mediator/intercessor of the new covenant. It was by His blood that the covenant was ratified.
The covenants between God and Israel stand... except for the Mosaic covenant. That was temporary. The Law of the Mosaic Covenant has been replaced by the Messianic Law of the new covenant.
Christ spoke to the "7 synagogues" in Revelation just as Christ spoke to those alive during Noah's building of the Ark.The bible refers to them as Israel in Revelation=spiritual Israel. These serve the true living God=YHVH(Jehovah) and know 100% Jesus is the one sent forth by him= the Messiah. Jesus didn't speak to 7 synagogues in Revelation.
You want to ask another for Scripture to back their words up and yet you say that Gentiles being saved was what God told the apostles but have no Scripture to back that up.I'm not sure where you got that from, but do you have scripture to back that up?
Paul says that the law is death. Jesus completed/fulfilled the Law Himself. What else is there that you believe you must fulfill where Jesus fell short? And no, you don't get to say there is a spiritual interpretation to any of the Law, because that is you telling God how it is.Jeremiah does not call the Law God was going to put in the inward parts of covenant Israel and Judah "Messianic" Law.
The Law God said to Israel and Judah He was going to put in the inward parts of His covenant people is His Law, or the Law He gave to Moses to give to the children of Israel at Mount Sinai. The Moral Law still exists. The Social Law still exists. The Ceremonial Law also exists but with a spiritual interpretation. The command to "not have other gods before thee (Israel)" still exists and we must obey it. But at the same time our justification (being declared "Not Guilty!") by God fulfills Jeremiah's prophecy where God says:
And then to the non-Jewish Gentiles (ethnos, which refers to race, and mixed race is not considered a race)For I will forgive their iniquity,
And I will remember their sin no more.
Jeremiah 31:34.
...refers to Israel and Judah's justification. Through Jesus' fulfilling the Ceremonial Law is the basis of Israel's forgiveness and God remembering their sin no more. This was done on the cross of Christ. Now the Holy Spirit is sanctifying Israel and Judah every day while alive as was begun on the Jewish Feast of Harvest, also known as Pentecost, in which three thousand Jews were born-again of the Spirit. Thousand more every day were being born-again by God's Spirit who was Promised to Israel and Judah as Peter brings to their memory through this passage:
Peter is speaking to the twelve tribes of Israel present in his audience.
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:38–39.
Yes, because Gentiles don't want to go to hell. So no, they aren'tPeter is not addressing Gentiles for Gentiles have no part in the Mosaic Covenant and the feasts that was being observed and celebrated that day when the Holy Spirit of Promise PROMISED TO ISRAEL (by Joel) descended from heaven as a mighty rushing wind. The three thousand people who were born-again were of the twelve tribes that were in Jerusalem for the Passover and for the Feast of Harvest. Mixed-race Jews were also in attendance.
I forgot. You decided to tell God that you hold the only meaning of this verse. The world speaks of the Satanic and demonic system of the world. (And yes, apparently, from a Jewish writer, demons are mentioned in the Old Testament under various Hebrew words. So, in reality, it is YOU who is adding to the Bible. Gentiles have no covenant with God and are in reality God's enemy. They are called "the world" by Jesus' apostles and messengers. John says:
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:15–16.
I didn't say that about you, but if that's where you want to go, then...That's very convenient. If it's not chapter and verse, then it is chatter and worse.
How many times do I have to remind you that the promise to Abraham, for all the families of the Earth (in which Earth is universal, the whole planet) will be blessed is for the Jews and Gentiles.Believers follow the Word of God and God is consistent in His Word. There is nothing in the Old Testament that supports Gentiles being heirs of the Abrahamic Covenant Promises nor were Gentiles ever under the Law God gave Moses for the children of Israel (Abraham's seed.) This is why Saul says:
And of course, you leave out everything else, such as the book of Galatians was written to the Gentiles (ethnos, which again, is not mixed race races, but race. So, non-Hebrew Gentiles.)4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Galatians 4:4–5.
"Again, you are adding to the Bible.
Saul's good news (gospel) to Israel is stated in several forms. One is found here:
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:3–4.
Take note Saul backing up his teaching with Scripture. And yet you want to say that Gentiles are included in the Lord's salvation but without Scripture to back you up as you said below:
False "churches" like Mormonism and JW's use that tactic and gain many false worshipers to their ranks.
Thats your opinion and you are welcome to itIt has nothing to do with rightly cutting out.
I don't have to fulfill anything. Jesus did it for me and for every elect person whose name is in the book of life of the lamb slain. And because He is in me through His Holy Spirit God sees me through imputation of His righteousness that I have fulfilled every jot and tittle of the Law and I am justified by God and declared "Not Guilty!" He is my Advocate, He is my Intercessor, He is my Mediator. He paid a debt He did not owe, I owed a debt I could not pay, I needed someone to wash my sins away.Paul says that the law is death. Jesus completed/fulfilled the Law Himself. What else is there that you believe you must fulfill where Jesus fell short?
Saul declares the Law is spiritual. And no, you don't get to say there is a spiritual interpretation to any of the Law, because that is you telling God how it is.
Gentiles as unbelievers don't care about heaven or hell. They are blind leading the blind and both and all fall into the ditch. Men do not seek God. For this is the condemnation, that light [CHRIST] is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light [CHRIST], because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light [CHRIST], neither cometh to the light [CHRIST], lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light [CHRIST], that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3:19–21.)And then to the non-Jewish Gentiles (ethnos, which refers to race, and mixed race is not considered a race)
Yes, because Gentiles don't want to go to hell. So no, they aren't
Demons are the evil attitudes/spirits of men. It is a mental condition. ALL the angels that sinned are locked up awaiting judgment and there are no sinful angels in the world today making people to sin. God locked them all up in darkness awaiting judgment. The only thing in the world today is saved individuals and unsaved individuals and the sin in the world comes from them. Born once, die twice. Born twice, die once. That is the only reality among men in the world today. Every "demon-" possessed men in the New Covenant writings whom Jesus saved were Hebrew and the first thing Jesus had to subdue was their attitudes, their evil human spirits, and every Hebrew or mixed-race Hebrew Jesus saved required an attitude adjustment. This is the attitudes the Jews had to deal with when Jesus said, "by whom did their fathers cast out these spirits." Unsaved men are not casting out Satan from other unsaved men. These are merely human spirits, or attitudes, that govern men's lives that are in focus. And such attitudes or spirits of men are the thieves that kill, steal, and destroy when left unchecked by God.I forgot. You decided to tell God that you hold the only meaning of this verse. The world speaks of the Satanic and demonic system of the world. (And yes, apparently, from a Jewish writer, demons are mentioned in the Old Testament under various Hebrew words.
The families of the earth that are blessed of God are those who are the seed of Abraham ONLY. One group is blessed, and one group is blessed and possess the Promises of God. To declare that ALL mankind has the blessings of God upon them would include that family from whom the man of sin is born from, including the man of sin also. Is the man of sin blessed of God? Is that your theology? It flies in the face of God to believe such a doctrine of demons that you espouse. Antichrist is blessed of God as also the man of sin according to your false teaching. The Scripture does not teach Universalism. The only families that are blessed of God are the families of the earth that are the seed of Abraham. For it is Abraham's Promised seed (Isaac, Jacob/Israel, and the twelve tribes/families that are ABOVE all the families that are not in covenant with God as Moses says here:I didn't say that about you, but if that's where you want to go, then...
How many times do I have to remind you that the promise to Abraham, for all the families of the Earth (in which Earth is universal, the whole planet) will be blessed is for the Jews and Gentiles.
The New Covenant writings by Jews and change it to make it apply to Gentiles such as what you say and do above. And of course, you leave out everything else, such as the book of Galatians was written to the Gentiles (ethnos, which again, is not mixed race races, but race. So, non-Hebrew Gentiles.)
Now, show me the Scripture from the Old Testament that shows God made salvation covenant with Gentiles, and tell me that Gentile persons' name. Even Jonah's prophecies was written to the Hebrew children of Israel - NOT to Gentiles."
44 The next Sabbath nearly the whole city assembled to hear the word of [z]the Lord. 45 But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began contradicting the things spoken by Paul, and were [aa]blaspheming. 46 Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first; since you repudiate it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles. 47 For so the Lord has commanded us,
‘I have placed You as a light for the Gentiles,
That You may [ab]bring salvation to the end of the earth.’”
48 When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of [ac]the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. 49 And the word of the Lord was being spread through the whole region. 50 But the Jews incited the [ad]devout women of prominence and the leading men of the city, and instigated a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their [ae]district. 51 But they shook off the dust of their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium. 52 And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit."
These things took place among Jews and Jewish Christians and mixed-race Jews who are the descendants of the Jewish Diaspora, they are Jews and mixed-race Jews who were scattered among the Gentiles and in their 'regions.'Ooh, isn't that ethnos, which refers to races, not mixed races? Gentiles? Non-Hebrew Gentiles being saved by Paul, because the Jews blasphemed God?
The primary source for Peter's reference of the Old Testament is Exodus 19:6. Moses was identifying the children of Israel to whom God's Word to Moses for the children of Israel is to and for Israel:Another scripture that speaks of the Church that applies to 1 Pet 2:9
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
The New Covenant Church is populated with Jews and mixed-race Jews. In Jerusalem when the Holy Spirit of Promise PROMISED TO ISRAEL descended upon the eleven disciples in the upper room and while Peter was addressing the twelve tribes of Israel that were his audience Peter brings up prophesies by Joel and David, Peter begins by addressing the crowd's confusion, explaining that the miraculous speaking in tongues was the fulfillment of prophecy. Its Eph 1:14 when speaking of the Church comprised of both jew and gentile believers in Ephesus
INCORRECT.Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Now what is the purchased possession ? Why its the Church, bought with a price, as here Acts 20:28
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Now the words purchased possession in Eph 1:14 is the same word for " a peculiar people " in 1 Pet 2:9, now how so that ? Because they're the same exact people ! 7
You have already added being Jewish. So if you are not actually Jewish (as Paul basically shut down the idea of proselyte), then you fall under your own condemnation. It doesn't matter if you great great great great great great grandfather was Jewish. That means nothing. That is grasping at straws.I don't have to fulfill anything. He paid a debt He did not owe, I owed a debt I could not pay, I needed someone to wash my sins away.
Yes, but what law? If the Mosaic Law was fulfilled in Christ so it is not more (not by abolishment, but fulfillment) then what law is Paul talking about?Saul declares the Law is spiritual.
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. Romans 7:14.
Considering (if I recall) you aren't Jewish, that leaves you out. Or, you understand what Paul meant when he said that the Old Testament did not reveal what was revealed to him and the apostles, which is that Gentiles (ethnos, so NOT mixed race Jews), have been saved by the same faith, and received the same Holy Spirit, because God is not divided. And because I am carnal (flesh) and the Law spiritual, the Law - Who is the Holy Spirit - killeth. But once I become born-again, I become a spiritual man, and the Law cannot touch me for several reasons. One is that Jesus paid the debt He did not owe on my behalf and once the Holy Spirit of Promise PROMISED TO ISRAEL - dwells within me the seal of God has marked me for salvation. I was saved (past), I am saved (present), and I will be saved (future.)
I'm not so sure, because it speaks to the church, and I do not believe the church is Israel. I am beginning to believe that the natural olive tree is actually the new covenant formed in Christ. Those non-believing Jews who rejected the Messiah are not a part of this covenant, while those non-Jewish Gentiles who believed in Christ were grafted in from an uncultivated wild olive tree. And that by the kindness of God, which you refuse ot believe God is kind and merciful. Againt you is His statement that HE will have mercy on whom He will have mercy, and YOU are not the one to dictate terms to God.Natural Olive tree Israel has become spiritual Olive tree Israel on that Pentecost when the Holy Spirit of Promise came down from heaven as a mighty rushing wind and I am marked by God for eternal salvation.
Brethere, test the spirits. That is connected to false teachers. The spirit is that from which their teaching flows. If they refuse to believe in Christ as He is revealed in scripture, such as, He came in the flesh, they out themselves as being false teachers. John is writing about the upcoming invasion of the church by gnosticism and dualism. I'm not sure when Marcion's heresy become mainstream. Either first century (late) or second century. Apparently John had already caught wind of the new teachings invading the church, or God had John write warnings in advance to protect His children. We never know whose name is written in the book of the lamb slain, but we are commanded to test the spirits (of men) to discern whether one is of God for the Spirit bears witness with my spirit and through His Spirit I am to discern the Spirit in another person to know who else is of God and that brethren is to receive everything God has given to me for them so that they may benefit from my gifts and I benefit from theirs as God takes us from glory to glory in the knowledge of Him. Now, through the Holy Spirit I am equipped by God for it is my spirit that is the candle of the Lord so I may give light to everyone who is in the house(hold) of God. Knowing who I am in the Lord, knowing my gifts, my call, my office, and my pounds and talents I exercise my blessings to and for ONLY my brethren so that I might not give that which is holy to dogs nor cast my pearls to swine, but all God gives me is for the benefit of my brethren. And ONLY my brethren.
It is the Law of the Messiah, not the Law of the Mosaic Covenant. If you put yourself under the Mosaic Law and you break just one of the 613 laws, you are damned by that Law. This is the heart of Paul's argument in Romans, Galatians, etc. The Law has no control over the believer in Christ by faith. What you need to have in the back of your mind, every time you move to attack that is, "believer in Christ by faith". Don't consider anyone else, because anyone who isn't a believer in Christ by faith isn't a part of the argument to begin with. So, yes, the Law is spiritual and so am I and what was once only letter is now become spiritual and comes with a spiritual interpretation of the Law once written in stone, and parchment, and vellum, and papyrus is also written on fleshly tables of my heart. I am a living epistle under command of the Lord to "Let the word of Christ dwell in [me] richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in my heart to the Lord" (Col 3:16.) There is a new dimension to my life, and it is that I have become born-again and became a spiritual being restored to a trichotomy of body, soul, human spirit filled with the Holy Spirit.
Actually, I believe those words were reserved solely for Jewish religious leaders.Gentiles as unbelievers don't care about heaven or hell. They are blind leading the blind and both and all fall into the ditch.
You realize that being John 3, this is aimed at the Jews, right? I mean, Gentiles included in men, but this is universal. If this were say, Paul in Romans, or even Galatians, your argument could work, however you picked the gospel of John, which was written for Jews from the viewpoint of Jews.Men do not seek God. (John 3:19–21.)
You do realize that this is universal? God is talking about all men. Jews included. There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. (Romans 3:11.) for no one looks for God for they love darkness rather than light (Christ.) Neither do the come to the light so that they may be saved because as Martin Luther has said, men are in bondage to sin. Their will is in bondage to sin and if the stronger man (Christ) is not binding the strong man in their lives they will not be saved for salvation is and comes from the Lord. And only those whose names are written by God in the book of life of the lamb slain shall come to God when their name is called by God.
That is correct. There is no such thing as accept Jesus into your heart. Salvation is SOLELY by faith. Anyone Jew, or non-Jewish Gentile, who comes to believe in Christ by faith, is saved. Any who come to Christ by faith are God's elect (Ephesians 1), Jew, or non-Jewish Gentile. They all get grafted into the olive tree, the Jew, grafted back in, while the non-Jewish Gentile is grafted in, having come from a non-cultivated, wild olive tree. And Paul is clear, God treated both differently. The Jew, cut off by the severity of God, the non-Jewish Gentile grafted in by the kindness of God. However, notice that for the Gentile, if they do not continue in God's kindness, God can (Paul left it hypothetical) cut them out. And, you will note, it does not say God will reattach them later. However, for the Jew, if they come to belief, God will, more than happy, graft them back in. How you keep missing all these little details, I just don't know.If there's no calling by God, then men will not come. But every man who is called of the Lord shall come and God makes them willing to come when the strong man in their lives (SIN) is bound by the stronger man who is Christ. There is no such thing as "accept Jesus into your heart.
Ah, oh great purveyor of another gospel. Please, don't make yourself anathema. God does not save through covenant. Paul made that clear. God saves through FAITH, plus nothing else. There is no covenant for salvation in the Old Testament. There never was. Paul already said that the Law was given so that sin would abound more. It wasn't salvation, it was enslavement. However, it had a purpose. It pointed to the need for Christ to escape the Law.There is no such thing as altar call for when the Spirit of God acts upon an elect person then that man (and/or woman) shall come when called. God saves through covenant and those who are in covenant - both the House of Israel and the House of Judah - have the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and will come to Him when called. Everyone else, every non-Hebrew Gentile that are outside the Promises of God shall never be saved for Christ died for Israel. He did not die for the uncircumcised, non-covenant, non-Hebrew Gentile that are NOT in covenant with God.
According to a Jewish person, this makes you a naturalist and a non-believer. For one who is so desparate to be Jewish to find salvation that way, to have one say that you aren't even a believer... you may want to actually study demonology. You know UFOs? They actually exist. 100%. There is a photograph taken back in the 1980s, taken by Walter Martin's photographer I believe. A photograph that was considered true evidence of the existence of UFOs. One of the people who was involved in UFO circles back in the day (whose name I can't remember off hand), left the organization because they refused to consider demonology in their research. There is the story of a now believer who was apparently in the middle of a possible alien abduction, house shaking, bed shaking, who cried out to Jesus and it just... stopped. There are a lot of stories like that. Cry out to Jesus, and it all stops. One thing a researcher noticed in his research is that in all the cases of UFOs, alien abductions, etc. Not one case involved born again Christians. Not one.Demons are the evil attitudes/spirits of men. It is a mental condition.
The same Jewish person said that another mistake made is believing that demons are ivolved in all sin. That isn't how it works. They are, as can be seen in the Old Testament as well as the new, messengers (angels) of evil. (Obviously not God's angels.) Also of destruction. Of immorality (those angels in prison). Lying spirits, unclean spirits, etc. Just because they started calling them demons (which is actually based off a greek word for messenger [of the gods]), doesn't change the fact that demons are scriptural. The Old Testament even referred to demons as idols, that is, the thing behind the idols. Where the power came from. Our youth pastor is a police chaplain, but years ago he dealt with the counseling of children who actually saw demonic activity first hand. Someone brought a satanic bible onto a bus. You know how well that would go amongst a bunch of rowdy teenagers. They took it from him and threw it to the ground... it never hit the ground. It levitated in front of everyone. It was a busy day for him.ALL the angels that sinned are locked up awaiting judgment and there are no sinful angels in the world today making people to sin.
You keep forgetting that Jesus Himself spoke of demons, speaking of them as spirits. I know, easier to say Jesus lied, then deal with the truth. You teach another gospel than Paul. From his mouth to you, you are accursed (anathema). There was no covenant or what Jesus did. The Mosaic Law never calls for human sacrifice. That is why everything changed when Jesus was crucified. Even the light that was the presence of God's glory in the temple stopped working normally. Some/all rabbis noticed this as a sign of the departure of God's glory from the temple.God locked them all up in darkness awaiting judgment. And such attitudes or spirits of men are the thieves that kill, steal, and destroy when left unchecked by God.
Opinion? Since when is the proper interpretation of a passage, using the original language for a word, an opinion? The passage simply says study so that you properly discern what scripture says. It doesn't say, get a butcher license to cut up the Bible to fit your beliefs. Context matters. A text without context is a pretext. Passages begin with the word For, but, because of, therefore, etc. for a reason. Generally, if a passages starts with the word "for", in the New Testament, you need the preceding passage to understand it. But is a contraction of the preceding. Because of, well, you need to know what comes before to understand it. And of course with Therefore, you need the preceding to find out what it is there for. Context is important. However, social media and other worthless inventions of man don't want context. They want soundbites. For instance, in response to your statement. DO NOT JUDGE. Jesus said that. So, stop judging.Thats your opinion and you are welcome to it
Who made you God's judge? What did Paul say about all this? Any who believe in Christ by faith are spiritual descendants of Abraham by faith. Paul was very clear. And no, the word for families is also translated as NATIONS, and the Jewish nation is singular. Nations if PLURAL. Why? The promised blessing is universal. What is that blessing? SALVATION through Abraham's seed, Jesus. You do understand that the New Testament says that word for seed is SINGULAR. Also, Jews are as damned as Gentiles. Even Jesus made that clear. Only those who believe in Christ by faith are saved, first the Jew, then the non-Jewish Gentiles. The families of the earth that are blessed of God are those who are the seed of Abraham ONLY. One group is blessed, and one group is blessed and possess the Promises of God.
Wow, how do you miss so much. The focus of the promise is not the universality of fulfillment, but the universality of the offer of salvation received by faith. That blessing of salvation by faith, is for all families/tribes/nations of the Earth (whole planet). That doesn't mean everyone receives the blessings. I mean, even the Jews are damned if they don't accept Christ by faith. Scripture is clear about that. That is why Paul introduces three groups, the uncultured Greek (heathen, pagan, immoral), the cultured Greek (non-Jewish Gentiles who have become a law unto themselves, so cultured), and the Jews (mixed race, or full) and then throws in Romans 3:23. For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. He leaves no one out. Before God in the Law, ALL, non-Jewish Gentiles and Jews fall short. And the wages of sin is death. No one is left out. However, the gift of God is eternal life, not to just anyone, but to those who believe in Christ by faith. Any Jew who does not, will be condemned by those Gentiles who were a law unto themselves, according to Paul. That does not mean those Gentiles are saved, just that those Jews are condemned by how these Gentiles lived.
And again, you completely missed the point of Moses. It has nothing to do with position. God already made that clear that Israel was less than everyone else. Moses is saying that they are a people set apart (holy) unto God because they were chosen out of/above all the other nations that God could have chosen to make holy to Himself. God made it clear that Israel was NOT better. God was clear. God chose for the sake of the fathers. (Promises/covenants made). God already said Israel was not the largest, was not the best, not the strongest, etc.For it is Abraham's Promised seed (Isaac, Jacob/Israel, and the twelve tribes/families that are ABOVE all the families that are not in covenant with God as Moses says here:
6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. Deuteronomy 7:6.
Um... no. You need to learn to read. The promise made to Abraham is the one that INCLUDES the Gentiles in its blessing. ALL the families of the Earth. It is UNIVERSAL. Anyone, Jew or Gentile, who believes in Christ by faith is covered by that promise. Paul was clear, Abraham was justified BEFORE any covenant had been made. Abraham's faith was counted as righteousness BEFORE he was ever circumcised. Why did Paul bring this up? He said it so that all who believed by faith were included, since it is by FAITH, and not by works/covenant. This is what you keep missing. And that is what God told Moses to say and to write. God was speaking to the children of Israel NOT everybody. You take what was given to Israel (the Holy Spirit, the Covenant Promises, the Word of God, the Christ, etc.), and you change truth for lie and give these 'things' to Gentiles.
Actually, you take Gentiles, Greek word ethnos, and twist and distort its meaning. Mixed race Jews are not a race. Ethne/ethnos deals specifically with RACE. Paul was the disciples to the uncircumcised, non-Jewish Gentiles. Peter was the apostle to the Jews. However, Paul never neglected the Jews, moving to the non-Jewish Gentiles after the Jews rejected his message. But that is what non-Hebrew Gentiles do. They take that which is Holy and give them to an unholy people - Gentiles. You insert Gentiles where God was speaking to Israel. It's called Inheritance Theft. And Gentiles have stolen - or before God, attempt - to steal that which God has given to Israel and make it apply to Gentiles. The Old Testament identifies Israel as betrothed to God and are His Bride and make it apply to Gentiles. You take the identity of the Hebrew people as a great congregation and make Church of God to change it into Gentile. You take the Church of Hebrews born-again by His Spirit and replace Israel with Gentiles when Scripture says that the Church Jesus Promised to build is populated by Jews, thousands and thousands born-of-God each day such as the three thousand Jews born-again on the Jewish Feast of Harvest, also called Pentecost and replace Jews with Gentiles and change the Word of God.
The new covenant is universal. It came first to the Jews, and then to the Gentiles. It is salvation in Christ by faith by which it is applied. It is not ethnic. It does not change any other covenant, as it deals solely in salvation, and the congregation of the new covenant is not Israel, not spiritual Israel, but the church. While there is no Jew or non-Jewish Gentile in the church, speaking to distinction IN CHRIST, when it comes to covenants and promises, there is a distinction. The Davidic covenant is to David, and by connection, it affects the Jews. The Abrahamic covenant was to Abraham, but affect his seed. God made a distinction by saying, through Paul, but also through the Old Testament, that it is for those who are not just physical descendants, but both physical and spiritual descendants. (Those circumcised in flesh, and in spirit.) It is not for the Gentiles. We are blessed by it (external), but we are not partakers in it. It's like a sprinkler. If you are watering your plants, and then you walk through it, it isn't going to avoid you like you are water-phobic. You are going to get wet, even though the whole focus of using the sprinkler is for the plants benefit. The New Covenant writings by Jews and change it to make it apply to Gentiles such as what you say and do above.
I do not replace Jews with Gentiles. You replace Gentiles with Jews (okay... you say it has to mean mixed race... JEWS, even though the word in the original language does not support it.) Abraham was never under the Law, and never under a schoolmaster, therefore Abraham cannot be saved. Of course, you have to create a loophole for him, even though Paul was clear that everything Abraham had for his faith came BEFORE the covenant, before circumcision, and before the promises. God's plan of redemption included BOTH Jews and non-Jewish Gentiles, starting with the Jews FIRST. They rejected. Because of said rejection, the gospel went to the non-Jewish Gentiles who received it. (Speaking as a group. Individually, mileage varies.) Once God is done bringing in the Gentiles, God will turn His full attention back to the Jews, and the elect remnant of Israel will be saved. (The only time when a group is mentioned, and God is speaking of the group, not individuals. The first case when it says all members of a group will be saved, and God means every last member.) No such promise for Gentiles, only the elect remnant of Israel. The New Covenant writings from Matthew to Revelation was written to the Jews and Jewish Christians but you replace Jews with Gentile and claim Galatians was written to Gentiles. Gentiles were never under the Law, never under a schoolmaster (Gal. 3.)
Again... the new covenant INCLUDES Gentiles, but outside of that, no covenants.God made NO COVENANT with non-Hebrew Gentiles.
As I said, you preach another gospel. As I said, you take what belongs to Israel and Abraham's seed and make it apply to Gentiles.
Somehow you know so much, but understand so little. Paul himself said the truth of the New Testament and the church was NOT revealed in the Old Testament, but revealed in the times of the apostles. That truth was the the church (again not Israel/spiritual Israel, but the church) would be made up of both Jews, and non-Jewish Gentiles. One in the body of Christ. And STILL no one can post an Old Testament passage that says Gentiles are in covenant with God the same that Israel is in covenant with God. Not only does God have covenant with Abram the Hebrew and his Hebrew seed but we have the name of the Hebrew (Abraham) with whom God has made covenant with. And on top of that we have Abraham's seed in Isaac that God records His dealings with Abraham's son in the Pentateuch. Isaac and Jacob and Jacob's twelve sons and their families that are recorded in the Pentateuch by Moses. Then we have the "minor" prophets with the "major" prophets who record their prophecies which are prophecies given to Israel and NOT Gentiles. God records His dealings with the Hebrew people beginning in Genesis all the way through Revelation. These writings were given to Israel all the way from Genesis to John's Revelation and they tell the story of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and Jacob's twelve sons and their families and they continue the story of the Hebrew people. They are NOT a record of Gentiles for God made no covenant with Gentiles. They are a record of God's dealings with the Hebrew people, the great congregation Church in the desert at the time of the Tabernacle and Temples and synagogues, and Jewish homes where true, Biblical Christians gathered to discuss the prophets and the Hebrew men and women of God that had ministry to the Hebrew people.
"22 And Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, “Go into the prostitute’s house and bring the woman and all she has out of there, just as you have sworn to her.” 23 So the young men who were spies went in and brought out Rahab, her father, her mother, her brothers, and all she had; they also brought out all her relatives, and placed them outside the camp of Israel. 24 Then they burned the city with fire, and all that was in it. Only the silver and gold, and the articles of bronze and iron, they put into the treasury of the [k]house of the Lord. 25 However, Rahab the prostitute and her father’s household and all she had, Joshua [l]spared; and she has lived in the midst of Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho."Now, show me the Scripture from the Old Testament that shows God made salvation covenant with Gentiles, and tell me that Gentile persons' name. Even Jonah's prophecies was written to the Hebrew children of Israel - NOT to Gentiles.
Apparently even you seem to know what Gentiles actually meant when Paul used the word. Non-Jewish Gentiels. Ethne, I have read, was not used for mixed races. These things took place among Jews and Jewish Christians and mixed-race Jews who are the descendants of the Jewish Diaspora, they are Jews and mixed-race Jews who were scattered among the Gentiles and in their 'regions.'
Again, Gentile does not refer to mixed race. The word does not allow for it. And no, the only thing I did is what Paul did. Paul explained that God took the gospel, took the promise of salvation by faith from the Jews who rejected, and presented it to the Gentiles who accepted. That salvation is by faith, not by the merit that you preach. The bottom line is you add to the Bible. You take that which was given to the twelve tribes of Israel and make it apply to Gentiles. The only Gentile that the Scripture identifies as Gentile (mixed-race) are those of mixed-race heritage who grew up Gentile in Gentile lands as they were scattered by God among the Gentiles.
And again, THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING. Did you read what both Peter and James had to say at the Jerusalem council? They were talking about the covenant. They were talking about the Law. They were talking about these and how it relates to the non-Jewish Gentiles. And the final verdict was, don't put on the non-Jewish Gentiles the burden that not even the Jews could bear. Thus James just said, flee immorality, do not eat meat sacrificed to idols, and it will be well with you.As long as a person is of the seed of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob's and Jacob's twelve sons they are in covenant with God.
God made no covenant with non-Hebrew Gentiles.
None at all.
Luke may have been non-Jewish Gentile. The jury is out. There are good arguments for both sides. I believe the majority goes with non-Jewish Gentile, but a God-fearer (a term used for believing non-Jewish Gentiles). Paul wrote to both Jews and non-Jewish Gentiles (most of the Roman church was non-Jewish Gentiles, because the Jews (all) had been ejected from Rome a few years prior, and had only begun returning. (Perhaps the biggest issue with your argument.) Apparently those strong in the faith had gone to the Roman church, perhaps to teach them? Thus, the covenants and the Word of God belong to the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and are also called the children of Israel even up to today. Genesis to Revelation was written by Jews and mixed-race Jews (Luke, etc.)
You trusting in the fleshThe primary source for Peter's reference of the Old Testament is Exodus 19:6. Moses was identifying the children of Israel to whom God's Word to Moses for the children of Israel is to and for Israel:
Thats your opinion its the right interpretation. A Mormon would say the same, or a Jehovah WitnessOpinion? Since when is the proper interpretation of a passage,
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:You trusting in the flesh
You are trusting in the flesh"to them gave he power to become the sons of God"
That power ("exousia") was in my genes being a descendant of Abraham. That is authority you can't buy. It comes by birth, biological birth. And then at the appointed time the Holy Spirit of Promise PROMISED TO ISRAEL came right on in and birthed me spiritually and I who was once the natural tree of Israel became a spiritual tree of Israel and I found myself firmly in His hand.
Only the seed of Abraham are in covenant with God. And they are the inheritors of the Abrahamic Promises/Covenant and only they are recipients of those Promises. And because God scattered His covenant people twice before Jesus' birth through the Assyrian and Babylonian Conquests (722 and 586 BC, respectively.)Who made you God's judge?
Faith is a gift that comes out of the Abrahamic and Mosaic Covenants, and only one seed are the recipients of the gift of faith: The Hebrew people. God does not make Promises to the children of Israel and then turn again to cast them into hell. Israel is the recipient of the salvation that is of the LORD. And although Ishmael's seed will be blessed of God because of His Promises to Abraham, God made sure that Issac is the son of Promise, not Esau. Jesus was born out of the tribe of Judah, not Massa, not Tema. The Holy Spirit that Joel prophesied was Promised to Israel. He is that schoolmaster Saul wrote about in Galatians 3. And one needs the Holy Spirit that God Promised Israel to be born-again and saved. There is no Scripture in the Old Testament that says God promised His Spirit to Ishmael's descendants nor to non-Hebrew Gentiles. You add to the Bible and through your erroneous theology you make God a liar by putting words in God's mouth that says Gentiles are also given the Holy Spirit or that non-Hebrew Gentiles can and will be saved.Wow, how do you miss so much.
But Israel is better than all the families of the earth. They have God. It was and is the intent of God to make Israel better than everyone else. God already said Israel was not the largest, was not the best, not the strongest, etc.
The Abrahamic Covenant is described in Genesis 12, 15, and 17, and there are no Gentiles named or mentioned or included in this covenant. You are definitely adding to the Bible and make God to be a liar by preaching your additions that have no Scriptural basis.Um...
There is no expiration in God's Word. You want to bring God's Law to an end go ahead. You're not the only one doing it. But God's Word and His Law is forever. Eternal. As for the Abrahamic covenant, that belongs to Israel, and it will be fulfilled in full (all promises related to this covenant) in the Messianic Kingdom, also known as the Millennial Kingdom. This fulfillment is for the Jews. Land promises, physical promises. The Mosaic covenant is long gone. It was only temporary. The covenants made by God with the Levites and with King David... forever. (age-enduring...) Uncondional. The new covenant was made for the world, and started with the Jews, then included the Gentiles. Those who were strangers to the promises, those who were far away (pagans/heathens, you know, words NEVER used for Jews) are brought near by Christ. The enmity that stood between the two groups Jews/non-Jewish Gentiles, removed IN THE CHURCH. (To delineate from Israel/spiritual Israel) In the church, there is but one body (Christ), one Father, one Spirit, one Master, etc. God is not divided. This is why Peter made such a huge deal of the non-Jewish Gentiles receiving THE SAME SPIRIT as the Jews. The Jews received the Holy Spirit first, just to remind you.
The problem is yours. You take an ancient language and re-interpret it using 21st century definitions and concepts and ideas. Saul was apostle (commissioned) to the Gentiles, which in other words, he was sent to the Gentiles because that where the majority of all Jews and mixed-race Jews lived. There's a reason why Saul when entering a city in Asia Minor or what is known today as Turkey and enter the synagogues FIRST. He was a rabbi and a Pharisee and he went to the synagogues first to ascertain several things. One is where he might find the Jews and mixed-race Jews who were Christ followers of the Way. Saul's travels took place after the great persecution of Jews upon Christians, and Saul was one of those Jews that persecuted Christ-followers. He even killed one. A Christ follower named Stephen. And so these followers of the Way would not be attending synagogue. They gathered in their own homes. And Jews of then synagogues would be able to point Saul to a house fellowship. The risen Christ told him:Actually, you take Gentiles, Greek word ethnos, and twist and distort its meaning.

Also, to whom was Elijah sent and whom did God bless? A Gentile widow. Also a point someone mentioned is that in the Old Testament, God did not heal Jews of leprosy (Miriam being the only one of note), while He did heal Gentiles of leprosy. (Namaan being of note). You don't seem to understand that the relationship between Jews and non-Jewish Gentiles in the Old Testament was rather... fluid. Moses married a non-Jewish Gentile, and God had no issue with it. Miriam and Aaron did. God almost killed Miriam. That would appear to be a rather huge difference of opinion between God and Miriam. And Moses did this, what you would probably call blasphemy, after the receipt of the law, and the Mosaic covenant.
Apparently even you seem to know what Gentiles actually meant when Paul used the word. Non-Jewish Gentiels. Ethne, I have read, was not used for mixed races.

And what does this mean:Mystery Israel !
Rom 11:24-26
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
This Mystery Israel is something men dont know by nature, it must be made known by God. When God declared Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation Isa 45:17
But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
What was the mystery, it was in the manner of how all Israel shall be saved, for it was the purpose of God to save His Israel by the out calling of His Elect from among both the Jews and Gentiles. . His people Israel are not all Jews and not all Gentiles, but called out from among both Rom 9:24-26
24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
Paul was explaining how that God was still saving all Israel by the calling of the Gentiles. National Israels Covenant Identity with God is no longer, so jews will be saved during the calling of the gentiles, the nations, since there are no more special nations set apart for God, national israel isnt no more above russia, japan, nigeria, she is now part of the ordinary nations of the world, just as gentile nations. Mystery Israel that God promised to save is none other than the Church, the Body of Christ, which is the Spiritual seed of Abraham Gal 3:29
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. The promise that Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting Salvation! 8
