Regeneration is how you are saved? Actually it's by grace THROUGH faith.. GRACE SAVES.

No one calls Christ Lord but by the Spirit.

Nothing is pleasing to God while yet in the flesh.

Flesh dies not give birth to Spirit.

REGENERATION PRECEDES FAITH
Nope

Taking verse out of context does not establish your claim

Your first verse concerns those who claim to be speaking by a higher power

Nothing states man cannot believe and believing pleases God

Also, the verse to which you allude speaks of obeying the law and not the ability to believe

Flesh does not give birth to flesh, but God does when men believe

John 1:12 (ESV) — 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,

"word order does not establish temporal sequence". LOL

REMEMBER THAT
Remember scripture refutes your claim

Acts 26:18 (KJV 1900) — 18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

And you have not established that is the context.

NO ONE is not someone. LOL Not in any language.

Believing is part of the law and is commanded. See 1 John 3:23.

Verse 13, which you conveniently leave out, says your will plays no part.

No, not at all

Word order does not establish temporal sequence but

Acts 26:18 (KJV 1900) — 18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Does not this scripture passage set forth regeneration preceding faith ? 2 Thess 2:13-14

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel,
to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Unbelievers do not receive the Spirit

John 7:38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Gal. 3:2 Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith?

Gal. 3:5 Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith—

Gal. 3:14 so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Gal. 3:22 But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Eph. 3:17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
Does not this scripture set forth regeneration before faith 1 Pet 1:2,22

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Again Sanctification of the Spirit is regeneration which is UNTO obedience, which obedience is unto the obeying the Truth,

22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit

No it does not

sanctification of the Spirit is not regeneration

Sanctification is the believer growing more like christ through the work of the Spirit

@Presby02

Believing is part of the law and is commanded. See 1 John 3:23.

Its the Law in the Spiritual Kingdom, its to the regenerate, notice they who keep this commandment dwelleth in Christ and He dwelleth in them vs 24

24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

So this commandment isnt to the world in general

Men are sanctified by faith and the continuing work of the Spirit inside the believer

Acts 26:18 (KJV 1900) — 18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

See apart by faith. Faith has no causation in that text.

Sorry that is bald denial

faith is clearly the instrumental cause

Nope, by faith, not because of faith. Faith is already been gifted to Him. All past tense. Opps

That scripture is about Paul being sent to the regenerated elect among the Gentiles so that they would be converted to the Light of the Gospel from darkness, They would hear the Gospel and believe

Yes they equivocate and conflate them . They place Calvin above Jesus and the Apostles.
