1000 thousand years is not literal

Feel extremely sorry for the people are brainwashed by religion… especially parents and what burdens they put on their own children….

It’s sad.
I'm brainwashed by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit but mostly by Jesus. :)

I also reject the religious brainwashed like Jesus and the Apostles did. :)

I don’t have any enemies quoting this is irrelevant…

If all you can do is quote scripture you miss the entire point…

You’re not Jesus.
That sounds like Verbel Abuse. :ROFLMAO:

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

Whatever you want to call it. A person who is rude, and arrogant is a person who is rude and arrogant.

Verbal abuse is actually when you down someone calling them stupid... they are not worthy of your time, etc... things of that nature.

Being honest about a way person appears to come off is not wrong... its not abusive, at all.

I don't trust people on this website that is for sure, I dont even trust my own coworkers i work near..

There is nothing wrong with that.

I work with mentally handicapped people... all the time... so I know what verbal abuse is or is not.

I just put people on ignore and i dont see them anymore that works for me...

It's not like people can actually care on this website anyway... lol there is so much superficial crap.

Also I dont think critizing is an abuse if you are actually critizing the way a person is presenting themselves, and also them being wrong on a subject title though they would never admit that..

People feel too safe on the internet, but if it was a debate at some church, you know you would have the side that would agree with one side or the other, thats what the thread is about.

1000 years is not literal.

I didn't ask for anyone else to present their case even if they do its irrelevant, it has nothing to do with the subject anyway.

I don’t have to fear satan he was done away with the bible says so…
4. Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
2 Corinthians 4:4

Be assured, spiritual warfare is a reality in the life of every believer. When you open the pages of the New Testament, there is no shortage of passages that characterize the Christian as a warrior and the Christian life as a battle. We are called to a grim struggle with unseen forces, and the fight is real.

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. (1 Timothy 1:18)

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life. (1 Timothy 6:12)

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7)

You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. (2 Timothy 2:3)

No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. (2 Timothy 2:4)

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. (1 Corinthians 16:13)

These verses appear to me clear, plain, and unmistakable. They all teach one and the same great lesson, if we are willing to receive it. That lesson is, that true Christianity is a struggle, a fight, and a warfare.

You quote scripture but dont realize that Satan has been defeated....

So... I mean. You can say that oh matthew you need to be worry about that.

You would be wrong, but you can worry about Satan if you need to.

I don't have to justify this stance. That was what Jesus came to do... to be so caught up by Satan is just delusion to me in my opinion....

You can quote more verse but it wont matter.

So many people worship the bible that is all they can do is quote it rather than just living life looking to God and having faith and believing he is there with you....

Christians worship God as act or practice expressing devotion, reverence, and adoration towards God. It often involves rituals, ceremonies, prayers, or other religious or spiritual practices.

God gave us the Bible to reveal Himself, guide us in righteous living, provide a path to salvation, and teach us about His will. It is a vital resource for spiritual growth and understanding, encouraging believers to develop a deeper relationship with God and live according to His purposes. As we engage with the Scriptures, we align ourselves with God's will and experience the transformative power of His Word in our lives.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. EPHESIANS 6:10–12

Satan’s war against us is organized and strategic. The word principalities refers to his head officers, while the word wiles refers to his clever plans, crafty deceptions, and cunning methods. Like a military general, Satan plans his attacks and directs his demonic forces.

Note carefully how Paul describes this one against whom we are fighting: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood.” In other words, our enemies are not people. You may think they are, but they are not.

You still dont understand...

Satan is done away with... the bible proclaims so.

But if you want continue to believe that Satan is still here or whatever by all means...

Do so...

I am not gonna change my mind on the internet just cause someone quotes the bible, and then suggest i need to believe that quote specifically... which they can say oh look satan is still around....

That doesnt mean we dont wrestle around with ourselves and people whom are in high places that are bent on evil.

Yep. That is all individualistically and not a united whole.

That doesn't mean we worship the bible.... Jesus never said worship the bible...

What did Jesus say? Worship the Father in "spirit" and truth.

People still can worship the bible... they will quote scriptute adnosim towards other people etc...

It's not a lie... its not an untruth...

Some people worship the bible more than the living God....

How you feel about it is irrelevant. It's not a lie to say... cause people do it... all the time...

They will get so fixated with what the bible says instead of actually living life, and trusting God to be there for them...

Im not saying the bible is bad... i am saying what people do with it can be utterly bad.

You ever heard of cults?

Well they exist, and they use the bible to justify their means of influence.

Best to be honest rather than sticking around to some fantasy land.

When considering God’s judgments on Satan, often only the original and final ones are considered; however, Scripture details various judgments on Satan throughout the course of history.

When Satan rebelled against God in heaven, he was cast out with one-third of the angels. Then after Satan tempted Adam and Eve to sin, God pronounced a curse on Satan, which would culminate in Christ, the God/man, crushing Satan.

On the cross, Satan was ultimately defeated by Christ; however, all the effects of Christ’s work on the cross await the consummation of all things.

As Satan’s time gets shorter during the great tribulation, he will rebel against God one more time—causing a war in the heavenlies.

Again, Satan will be defeated and cast to the earth—never to return. When Christ returns at the end of the tribulation, Satan will be bound temporarily for 1000 years, then let loose to tempt the nations.

After Satan and the nations rebel against Christ a final time, Satan will be cast into the lake of fire to be eternally judged. He will never tempt the nations again.

But as of now Satan has continued the widespread usage of deception. Paul warned Timothy, “But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived” 2 Timothy 3:13

Deception will continue to compound as the Church Age progresses. His deception has a purpose; it is leading to a time when the Antichrist will take control of the world. The Antichrist will rule with lies and dominating brutal force.

Those who oppose him and his rule will lose their lives Revelation 17:6

Satan is preparing the people of this world for this time by leading them into deception.

Satan is over with....

But if you wanna believe it lady, fine by all means.

Satan is defeated in Revelation and I believe those things remain true today.

I am not a person who believes I need to worry about Satan... I believe Satan is dead and gone... and God has allowed the world to continue as it has, and it will continue onward.

God reconciled the world to himself through Jesus Christ...

People are funny, all they can do is just stick to what they know, say they belivee what the bible says but can't believe that Satan is defeated...

Funny people.

With Christ’s resurrection and exaltation, believers have an Advocate 1 John 2:1-2 who perfectly atones for our sin, but Satan’s power as accuser is active. Colossians 2:14-15

Not according to Revelation....

See what I mean by people using scriputre just so willy nilly.

Doesn't even make any sense.

But of course many people don't believe Jesus returned either so....

Its kind of like - I just throw my hands up - believe what you want to.

Im not gonna change just cause you or anyone else believes I need to...

Im not gonna say you are not chrisitan just cause you don't understand what is being talked about... that would be rhetorical and critizing in an abusive way.

Thats what people say to me. Matthew youre not a christian cause you believe Jesus came back already or whatever...

Its really stupid.
