1 John Hilasmos (atonement)

then nothing you said above makes any sense concerning sanctification, which is why you are confusing me

Believers do not persevere. that is why I reject Calvinist perseverance of the saints. If I must persevere. then I am saving myself and salvation can be lost if I fail

God keeps us. as he said, non will be lost (john 6)
So God doesn't keep you from falling?
I don't believe you understand what you're saying. It is circular to you. You start with you and end with you.

Jud 1:24 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy

So which is it? Do you actual believe in effectual sanctification or not?

Sanctification has a past, present and future aspect . Just like salvation does
Yes

I am positionally sanctified - which in terms is the same as justified. this is by faith. not of works. lest anyone should boast

there is conditional sanctification - minute by minute we are going or being stagnant, this process will be ongoing until we die

lastly we are perfectly sanctified, this is also called glorification. this is where our positional sanctification and conditional sanctification meet. as we are perfect. now totally unable to sin. and this happens after our ressurection.

but we are saved by grace through faith in the work of God period. Because we were redeemed by the blood of the lamb. Sacrificed in our place. so we could be made the righteousness of God in him
