Your sermons are fascinating Mr. mainstream preacher.
Are you preaching to the world that Abraham, Moses, Shadrack, Daniel, David, Malachi, John the Baptist, Peter, James, Paul, Matthew, and the others who we know Obeyed God and therefore, as promised, received the Spirit of God, ARE NOT BELIEVERS"?
But this world's religions that you promote, worship an image of God in the likeness of some extremely handsome man, with long flowing hair and blue eyes, which is in direct disobedience to God's Commands.
And you represent and promote a religion of this world that rejects God's judgments concerning what is clean, holy and righteous, and have replaced God's Judgments, having gone about establishing your own righteousness, with your own definition of Holy and Clean and righteous, which is in direct disobedience to God's Commands.
And this same religion you have adopted to promote, rejects God's Holy Feasts as worthless Jewish traditions, and have gone about establishing your own high days, which this world embraces and through your adopted high days have created wealth and prosperity to all the merchants of this world, truly the merchants of the world have grown fat off your religious traditions, as it is written.
But the Holy Days of the Rock, the Holy One of Israel "Esteemed above other days" and said, "These are My Feasts", are despised and rejected by this world's religions and there is no wealth created by their promotion at all. There is no sale on pork legs for "Feast of Atonement". But how many millions and millions of dollars are spent purchasing swine's flesh to honor this world's religious high days, created "In Christ's Name"? The number in incomprehensible.
So I, and everyone who has read the Oracles of God, have access to the "Congregation of believers" if they want. But Jesus expressly warned "Specifically" about "ONE Group" of people,, and that was the "MANY" men who will "Call Him Lord, Lord", they will cast out demons in His Name, BUT they live in "Transgression of God's commandments that they might live by their own religious traditions"..
I was born in such a world, just as you were. Jesus was born in the same world, as was Paul and Cornelius. David, all born in the same world. Moses, Abraham, born in the same world. Noah born in the same world. Even Abel, where there was only 4 people, was hounded by this world's religious voice "Because" he didn't transgress God's commandments by bowing to Cains religious traditions, even unto death. All the way back to the Garden God placed Adam and Eve in, where a religious voice also existed, that "professed to know God" and even quoted "Some" of His Words, but promoted disobedience to God, to deceive Eve.
So Mr. Mainstream Preacher, the very reason why God had the words and experiences of the "congregation of the Lord" written down for me, along with the works and deeds of those who professed to know God, but didn't respect Him with obedience, is like a shelter, an armor, a Refuge for me, as Paul, another trusted member of God's church teaches, "these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
So the Congregation of the Lord, the Believers as defined by the Spirit of Christ, speaks to me just as they spoke to Paul and the other members of His small flocks all over the world, some of whom I gather with often in thanksgiving and prayer. That is why God created His Word for me, as it is written:
Heb. 11: 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a "more excellent sacrifice" than Cain, "by which" he obtained witness "that he was righteous", "God" (Himself) testifying of his gifts: (Who hasn't heard of righteous Abel, and the other Faithful members of God's Church?)
and by it he (And ALL Faithful men that God Testified about)"being dead" yet speaketh.
So Mr. mainstream preacher, I do not forsake the assembling together of believers. And you too, although it would be a much greater cost to you, just as it was for Paul, could turn to the God and Father of the Lord's Christ, and Trust the Holy scriptures
"for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." too, but it take belief.
You will be called names, mocked and ridiculed by the religions of this world and those who promote them. And you will suffer the loss of many things, as Paul experienced and taught.
Phil. 3: 5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; "as touching the law", a Pharisee; (Pharisees full well rejected God's Laws and promoted their own laws instead)
6 Concerning zeal, "persecuting the church"; touching the righteousness which is in the (Pharisees) law", blameless.
Don't fall for the insidious lie taught to us as kids by this world's religions,, that it was God's LAW that directed Paul to persecute the Church of God, AKA, "the Body of Christ", it wasn't. It was the commandments of men they taught for doctrines, at least this is according to the Jesus "of the bible".
7 But what things were gain to me, (Philosophies, Righteousness and traditions of men) those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I "may win Christ", (The Prize of the High calling of God)
Of course not, as God's Word I pointed out to you reveals. Abel, Abraham, Moses, Caleb, Noah, Jeremiah, Malachi, David, John, Peter, James, Paul, being dead, the Spirit of Christ that was in them, still speaks to me each time I read them. I have brothers in Christ I meet with every Sabbath that they speak to as well. So even though I feel alone sometimes, which I found to be common with most all the Members of the Body of Christ since Noah, I know that I am not alone. This is another reason, in my view, that God had the Holy Scriptures, including His Testimony of men HE judged as faithful, written for my admonition.
I encourage you to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and "put on the new man, which after God is created in (HIS) righteousness and true holiness. (As defined by Him)
Jesus didn't adopt the philosophies of the mainstream religions of His Time, but Paul did, when he partook of the murder of Stephen.
Do the study preacher. Or not, its a choice we all get to make.
