They just did not make a wrong choice, they rebelled against their Creator.
- Exile and Exclusion: God drove Adam out of Eden to prevent him from taking the tree of life and living forever in his fallen state.
But what you refuse to accept, is the Truth that God placed Adam and Eve in the garden,
and prevented them from taking of the Tree of life,
"BEFORE" he was drove out of the garden.
"Before" they sinned against God. So even before Adam's fall, they were not given the Right to the Tree of Life.
In my understanding, this is because God
set before them life (Good) and death (Evil), blessing and cursing: And instructed them to choose life (Good), that both thou and thy seed may live: But They chose death (Evil), So of course, God is a Just God, and did not let them "
take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever". Even though the deceiver told Eve, "Thou shall surely not die", convincing her that God is a liar.
22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground "from whence he was taken". "
for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return".
The deceiver would convince us that God withheld to capacity for Adam and Eve to obey Him, then punished them and mankind forever, "because" they didn't obey Him. I advocate that men take heed of this popular religious philosophy you have been snared to promote to others. All humans are given the capacity to deny their flesh, if they desire to do so.
- Establishment of Separation: God placed Cherubim and a flaming sword at the east of Eden to secure the way to the tree of life, signaling broken fellowship.
Yes, men that "Choose death over life, are not given the "Right" to the Tree of Life, as it is written;
Rev. 22:
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, (Choose Life) that they may "have right" to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
This is why Paul's teaching of repentance and submitting oneself to God's Righteousness, Yielding oneself a servant to obey God's Commandments, Offering oneself a living sacrifice to God, is essential to have right to the Tree of Life, in the day men are raised from the Dead, and Judged according to their "works", as Paul also teaches,
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
The deceiver would have us believe Paul is a liar, and that we have no choice, and that men are not judged by their words, rather, they are chosen by God through some secret, never before revealed to any one, anywhere in scriptures, a "Holy Lottery" where men are rejected or chosen based on nothing they choose to do.
I advocate that men Seek God's Righteousness, and place their trust in the Word of God, not the prince of this world's religions.
- Imposition of Curse and Labor: God cursed the ground, ensuring that Adam would suffer toil and sorrow, and that his life would become a "life-long toil".
This is true,
17 And unto Adam he said, "Because" thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, "Thou shalt not eat of it": cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
This is the Cross of all humans. They will fight against the principalities and powers of the air the rest of their life. Even Jesus, who never sinned, "
Thorns also and thistles were brought forth to him" also, and HE carried this same cross, Yet
humbled Himself is obedience to His Father, and HE "endured to the End". We too, who like Adam, have sinned, can cast away our transgressions, and strive with all our hearts to "Go and sin no more", as the Spirit of Christ teaches,
Is. 1:
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; 17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
But the deceiver would have us believe that Jesus takes all that toil and battle away from men, who hit the Holy Lottery. That men can create our own Judgments, just like Eve, and create their own high days, like the Pharisees, and create their own commandments, like the "Jews Religion" and as long as we do those things "In Christ's Name" our disobedience doesn't matter.
I advocate that men consider the warnings about this world's religions, that you are on a mission to promote. And that they leave this world's religions, like Abraham and Caleb, and Daniel and Shadrack and Zacharias, and Peter, and "
be diligent that we may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
- Enforcing Death: Although Adam did not die physically immediately, Moses emphasizes that spiritual death and the corruption of human nature occurred instantly, which ultimately leads to physical decay and death, per Genesis 5:3; Ecclesiastes 12.
Without eating of the Tree of Life, all humans will die. And they will stay dead until a power greater than they, raise them from the dead. And according to Scriptures, they will be judged according to their works, whether they believed God or Not.
Ez. 18:
20 The soul that sinneth, "it shall die". The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
21 But if "the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed", and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, "he shall not die".
22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should "return from his ways", and live?
God gives the wicked the chance to submit to His Righteousness, not based on their works, but based on His Grace alone. No one makes Him Offer to us forgiveness or His Long suffering and patience He doesn't want to destroy anyone. But HE is God, and HE does mean what HE says.
24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
The deceiver promotes from the very beginning that a person can eat what God commandments not to eat, and "
Ye shall not surely die". That God's Laws are worthless Jewish Traditions, and "
that in the day ye transgress His Commandment, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
I advocate that a man trusts the instruction of the Lord's Christ and "Live by" EVERY WORD that Proceeds from the mouth of God, as it is written.
Ecc. 12:
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep "his commandment": for this "is the whole duty of man". 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
- Promise of Grace: Despite the punishment, Moses notes God’s grace in promising that a Savior would come from the woman’s seed to defeat the serpent (Genesis 3:15).
But the serpent is still here, this is why Christ gave us His Armor, and instruct men to "Put it on". The Feast of Atonement, speaks about a time when the serpent will be locked up, and the sins of the world placed on his head, where it belongs. But that is an event "Yet to Come". Until then, to "Endure to the End" and be saved, in this world God placed us in, we are instructed to Yield ourselves to Him and keep His Commandments. Even though we are surrounded by deceivers who profess to know God, but are willfully disobedient to His Commandments, they despise His Judgments, and they have created an idol, an image of God in the likeness of the sacrifice God provided for them, just as the rebellious in Israel did when Moses return was delayed.
I advocate that men trust the Scriptures, and ignore those "many", who have transformed themselves into Apostles of Christ, who preach that God's Judgments and sabbaths are "Jewish Laws, and not God's Laws. God knows what we need, and His Laws are created, as Paul teaches, "For our sakes no doubt".
All a man needs is belief.
