That you say it every day.

Oh. I don't recall saying that but thanks for clarifying. You've said this.
That I must worry about losing my salvation.
NOT
That you say it every day.
Oh, the memories!
No problem!Oh. I don't recall saying that but thanks for clarifying.![]()
What's really cool is that we are all entitled to our own opinion. I gave you mine. "Faith and saving faith are related concepts but differ in their implications and context within religious belief."Well Foster,,,you've just confirmed my statement to you.
Which was: These man-made terms are skewering the teachings of the NT.
You even posted a video of some guy you like.
There's no difference between faith and saving faith.
If I have faith in God...I'm saved.
It's like when a member makes a point of someone being a TRUE believer.
What is a true believer? Who knows.
If some believes, they are a believer.
Do I believe the sky is blue...
or do I have to TRULY believe the sky is blue.
I could go through each bullet and show you how it cannot be correct.
But I'm interested to know what you think of the idea that faith is faith.
Faith in God is ALWAYS saving faith.
PS If I have faith that gravity is real...
that's enough to not jump out of a plane!
Faith in Jesus is saving faith. What's the difference between faith and saving faith?
If I have faith in God...am I saved?
Or do I require "saving" faith?
All these odd terms we make up are skewering the teachings of the NT.
Hi Foster...What's really cool is that we are all entitled to our own opinion. I gave you mine. "Faith and saving faith are related concepts but differ in their implications and context within religious belief."
OKThere are many religions that believe and have faith in a god but that's not going to save them.
Yes. I believe you're speaking about THE FAITH...the Christian faith,,,as in number 1.When Jesus was a child the villagers could have faith in believing He was the son of Joseph and Mary. That fait didn't save them.
As an adult Jesus said in Luke 4
20. Then He rolled up the scroll, returned it to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him, 21. and He began by saying, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” 22. All spoke well of Him and marveled at the gracious words that came from His lips. “Isn’t this the son of Joseph?” they asked.…
In the next three years many would come to a Saving Faith in Jesus believing that He is the Son of God and they got saved.
OK. Agreed. But notice that even in Ephesians 2:8-9, which you posted, it states that we are saved through FAITH...One faith is head knowledge and the is faith by grace.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Faith in JESUS is saving faithFaith in Jesus is saving faith.
To the trenches Selah . POINT to CHRIST till the last breath my friend . FOR HE ALONE savesFaith in Jesus is saving faith.
How does one know if the jesus the follow IS THE JESUS or just another jesus .That reminds me of 2 Corinthians 11:4 - For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.
Examination time for us all . For i fear that many , as eve was , have been beguiled by the serpentYou said I tell you that you worry about your salvation every day.![]()
Mark 16:16 - He who believes and is baptized will be saved (general cases without making a qualification for the unusual case of someone who believes but is not baptized) but he who does not believe will be condemned. How does one know if the jesus the follow IS THE JESUS or just another jesus .
its real simple mailman dan . so simple a child , like this wee thing by grace can see .
WHOSE WORDS DO WE TRUST and BELIEVE . THE JESUS , or mens who omit and even twisted some of His sayings .
THAT is how ya know . Real simple indeed .
So allow me some parting words to test and see if you walk as did abraham .
Go ye into all the world preaching the gospel .
Teaching them , not some , not most , but ALL THINGS i have taught YOU
they who believe and are baptized shall be SAVED
but he who believes not shall be damned .
NOW do beleive as did eve when the serpent and has many many many co wokers within christendom say
NAY , nay they shall surely not be DAMNED for GOD IS LOVE
OR DO WE BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST . intefaith IS OF ANTI CHRIST , this false love sin accepting broad path GOTTA GO
let us take heed unto the parable of the little church that didnt and thus became of anti christ .You've said this.
That I must worry about losing my salvation.
NOT
That you say it every day.
would you stop heeding men .Mark 16:16 - He who believes and is baptized will be saved (general cases without making a qualification for the unusual case of someone who believes but is not baptized) but he who does not believe will be condemned.
The omission of baptized with "does not believe" shows that Jesus does not make baptism absolutely necessary for salvation. Condemnation rests on unbelief and not on a lack of baptism. *NOWHERE does the Bible say, "baptized or condemned."
If water baptism is absolutely required for salvation, then we would expect Jesus to mention it in the following verses. (3:15,16,18; 5:24; 6:29,40,47; 11:25,26) Yet what is the one requirement that Jesus mentions nine different times in each of these complete statements *BELIEVES. *What happened to baptism? *Hermeneutics.
If he who believes shall be saved then he who believes and is baptized, shall be saved as well. However, who did Jesus say would be condemned?
John 3:18 - He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who (is not water baptized? - NO) does not believe is condemned already, because he has not (been water baptized? - NO) because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
oh . i reread the first part . so allow me to say this .Mark 16:16 - He who believes and is baptized will be saved (general cases without making a qualification for the unusual case of someone who believes but is not baptized) but he who does not believe will be condemned.

My advice to all , GET OFF the merry go round of any love that denies
Round and round many go on the wheels of the doctrines of men and of false love ,
