Open Theists, did Christ know who He loved and died for on the cross? Or did He die for a nameless, faceless people who He could not know would ever exist?

Jesus, during His time in the FLESH, knew what the Holy Spirit (which dwelled in Him) told him. That's got nothing to do with the "Open Theism" heresy/

Jesus was aware of his own divine authority and mission. He was mission-driven and directed his life, schedule and energies toward fulfilling his purpose: He came to seek and to save the lost Luke 19:10

He came to save sinners, His mission was to save those who needed saving 🙌. He knew His purpose, even from a young age.

“But why did you need to search?” he asked. “Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s house?” Luke 2:49

Every human is a sinner in need of salvation, and Jesus made a way for salvation for all who put their faith in Him.

Feel free to quote them
Matthew 18:11 "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost." Mark 2:10 "But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)" Ezekiel 34:15 "I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD." Ezekiel 34:16 "I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment."

the apostles, 1 Timothy 2:3 "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;" 1 Timothy 2:4 "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 4:10 "For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe." John 3:17 "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." Just a few. and there are many more.

So He came to seek and to save those who are lost. Did He accomplish His mission or do some remain lost?

That dodges my question as I suspected you would. Does He fail to seek and save some of the lost???
My God ... READ..... Isaiah 66:19 "And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles."

the ISLES AFAR OFF? who went to them? NOW .... NT Fullment. Acts 2:39 "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." ..... afar off. was it not the Holy Spirit that went to them, who is the Lord Jesus. was not those who was scattered was filled with the Hpoly Spirit? yes, and is not the Lord Jesus that Spirit? let's break it down for you to understand.

Matthew 16:28 "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." Luke 9:27 "But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God." is not the the KINGDON of GOD, the Holy Spirit? yes, and is not the Lord Jesus the "Comforter" ... the Holy Spirit? yes, 1 John 2:1 "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:" WHO IS THE "ADVOCATE?", the Son of Man the Holy Spirit.

Jesus knows everything

John 16:30
Now we know that You know all things, and have no need for anyone to question You; by this we believe that You came from God.”

John 21:17
He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Tend My sheep.

My God, are you capable of answering a direct question?

He came to seek and save those who are lost. Does He fail to seek and save some of the lost??

Jesus never said He came to seek and save every lost person. He said the following: “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” Luke 19:10. He didn't say all the lost, every lost person. That would be adding to scripture- a big no no. :)

hope this helps !!!
