Things that accompany Christ

Yeah, but they weren't believers when He purged their sins. Their believing had nothing to do with the the work He did and sat down at the Right hand of God. Some who He did that for were not even born yet.
Without repentance there is no forgiveness

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

2 Chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Prov 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Ezek 18:30–32 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

Isa 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts: And let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; And to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Acts 26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

Without repentance there is no forgiveness
Jesus give them both. He brings them to God, He purged their sins away, they're forgiven, He gives them repentance Acts 5 31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

nope you are conflating the atonement with salvation- the atonement is provisional.
Did you read 1 Pet 3:18

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

His being put to death in the flesh, that means His Death on the Cross, iit was in order to produce this effect,

"that he might bring us to God" Thats Conversion, being restored from the going astray in Adam.

Like here Isa 53

All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way;
and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Jesus death for their sins laid on Him, returns them back to God, restored

Libertarianly

No Im good.
Of course you're ok with disregarding the rest of the Book of Hebrews (Heb 2:1–3, 3:18–19, and 4:2 in this case). I wouldn't expect any less Biblical obstenance from a Calvinist.
Jesus purged the sins of them He died for Heb 1:3
Yes, that verse perfectly aligns with Hebrews 2:1–3 to show that benefit can be forfeited or never appropriated. It also aligns with Hebrews 3:18–19 that explicitly states that some were barred from entering God’s rest “because of unbelief". Also, it aligns with Heb 4:2 that explains that the preached word “did not profit them, not being mixed with faith,” thereby showing that divine provision without faith yields no benefit whatsoever.

Keep those Calvinism-slating verses coming!

I just dont disregard Heb 1:3 as most folk do. Reading all the rest of the book and chapters dont change the truth of Heb 1:3

When will you actually read the entire Book of Hebrews??? This aversion to reading is a common trait amongst Calvinists.

You dont believe it do you ?

God doesn't want the death of the wicked, so asks them to repent. So yes, God wants them to make a libertarian choice.

Ezekiel 33:11
“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God,
I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live:
turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways;
for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”

Upon repentance and faith
You must cant read. Jesus gives Repentance and forgiveness of sins Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Those blessings accompany Christ in His work of Saving

Acts 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

This just says Jesus gave repentance and forgiveness as his role, not that He necessarily usurps it on them.

People often resist God, proving that He doesn't just usurp it on them.

Acts 7:51 Ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

The Truth Im highlighting is in Heb 1:3 Christ purged the sins of them He died for. I don't know why you are avoiding it, it isn't going nowhere. If you never acknowledge it, thats on you
Unlike you, I acknowledge all Book of Hebrews verses all together. We need to appropriate (Hebrews 2:1–3) Christ's purging of our sins (Heb 1:3) through faith (Heb 4:2) so that we are not barred from entering God’s rest because of unbelief (Heb 3:18–19).

When will you start reading and believing the entire Book of Hebrews? What are you afraid of? I don't know why you are avoiding it, it isn't going anywhere. If you never acknowledge it, that's on you. Your obstinance against reading the Bible is a common trademark of Calvinists.

Not in the sense you imagine. You believe it is irresistable however Men come to faith and repentance by the word and activity of God and Christ.

Upon repentance and faith

read

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Men are told to repent. It therefore is something they must do not something for which they have no response

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

It is us who must confess

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Peter is telling men they must repent

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

2 Chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Men are to: humble themselves, and pray, and seek God's face, and turn from their wicked ways

Prov 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Men are commanded to repent

Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Repentance and the lack of it stated as being according to their ways.

This just says Jesus gave repentance and forgiveness as his role,
Yes He gave them to the elect as their Highly Exalted Prince and Saviour Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Maybe you dont understand Christ role as a Saviour, its to give repentance and forgiveness of sins

You not acknowledging Heb 1:3 and Christs finished work in purifying the sins of the elect away.

The guilt of all their sins are gone !
