The Hypostatic Union- the 2 Natures in Christ

If God offered you His power and you took it?
Praise Yeshua would cease to exist...

We can not be trusted with such power.

The only One God trusts with such power to be as God is Jesus Christ.

What are you talking about. You're the one that believes that Jesus was a human person. Human persons sin. Human's are peccable.

May I suggest an alternate independent sources in this dispute. It might help @GeneZ @sawdust @Johann to understand what is being said here apart for the "enemy right before me" issues.

1. Be clear. I want you say that the Father was what the disciples saw when Jesus was transfigured before His disciples. Not the Person of Christ.

Be clear. Don't just try to imply that you've answered it.

2. Did the Father empower the disciples to do exactly what Jesus did?
Is that because you don't see God the Father in Christ. No-one sees the Father directly, only the Son can see the Father.

John 1:18
No one has ever seen God. The only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, has revealed him.

To look at Christ is to see the Father. If it were not for the Son being both Deity and Soul eternally we would never understand God. He is the word, He is God in the language a human being can understand.

But you want me to say I see Christ so you can have your "aha" moment and say Jesus acted as God. The fact Jesus revealed Himself as the glorified Son was by the authority of the Father. I know this because Jesus said He did nothing and said nothing on His own authority.

As for your second question, I have no idea what you're getting at. Jesus told the disciples they would do greater things than He did. The Father didn't empower them to lie though which they would have done if at any time they claimed to be God. That would certainly not be on the authority of the Father.

Do you not understand what it means to be under authority?

Pettiness is not the fruit of the Spirit...

You should only use that argument if someone says Jesus sinned...

God allowed Jesus to be tempted to PROVE that God is right in having His Son to be the only Soul allowed to hold the reigns to the power to make Himself be as God. He is to be trusted to hold such power!

That is not what the verse says. Only the Son has revealed the Father. Which means, they saw the Divine Person of Jesus Christ Incarnate that "disrobed" before them.

Correct. Which is a statement of Unity. Not a direct statement of "who you're beholding". You must realize this is why Christ was crucified. He claimed Unified Identity with the Father. He always sought to tell others how He reflected the Father. However, there are unique operations in this Unity.

But you want me to say I see Christ so you can have your "aha" moment and say Jesus acted as God. The fact Jesus revealed Himself as the glorified Son was by the authority of the Father. I know this because Jesus said He did nothing and said nothing on His own authority.

The Father was certainly involved but we SAW THE GLORY OF THE SON. The Innate Glory of the Son.

As for your second question, I have no idea what you're getting at. Jesus told the disciples they would do greater things than He did.

They lived longer. There were more of them. They spread the message throughout the known world. In power, they never had the same experience. Jesus clearly stated that the servant is NOT GREATER than His Master.

Joh 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
Joh 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

The Father didn't empower them to lie though which they would have done if at any time they claimed to be God. That would certainly not be on the authority of the Father.

Do you not understand what it means to be under authority?

Relative to Christ, it was statement of Unity. No subservient power. Do you understand the difference between Christ and His disciples?

The arguments you are making are used by men to deny the Divinity of Jesus Christ. You're stating that Jesus only reflected the Father in the Incarnation. That Christ, Himself, didn't do anything from His own Person. That is what you're saying.

This is not an Orthodox teaching of the Divinity of Jesus Christ.
Bingo

2. Did the Father empower the disciples to do exactly what Jesus did?

If they matured enough in knowing accurately God's Word?
They could have done even more.

Jesus even said so!
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing,
and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12

Peter walked by people in a crowd and when only his shadow touched them? they were healed!

As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats
so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.
Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those
tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed." Acts 5:15-16

Jesus did not even do that much...

You didn't answer my question. For how long did you work with horses?

What does it matter if you're "working a horse" that will never care about you? No. I'm not an Equestrian. I took a different path in life.

However, I can tell you that when a horse lead to water doesn't drink ...... well... even a "greenhorn" knows that horse hates the Equestrian. That is why God has been good to all of humanity. Not just to the people you prefer.
