The Gospel Of Salvation

None of who?
Those who God chose before the foundation of the world.

Ephesians 1:1-6 (NKJV) 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

i am late to the party in this discussion and i thought you were saying: 'none of the OT Saints were Born Again'

Christ had Sheep that had not even heard His voice yet, so they were in unbelief Jn 10:16

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

They had not yet heard His voice, and Faith cometh by hearing, so they were in unbelief. Some of Christs Sheep had not even been born yet into the world, and they werent going to be born believers, but unbelievers, yet they were Christ sheep He came to save
Sorry your interpretation is contrary to the fact

'
John 10:1–5 (LEB) — 1 “Truly, truly I say to you, the one who does not enter through the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up at some other place—that one is a thief and a robber. 2 But the one who enters through the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 For this one the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 Whenever he sends out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 And they will never follow a stranger, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.”
those you call sheep do not know his voice and they follow a stranger

John 10:27 (LEB) — 27 My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

Further the bible shows they are not his

Rom 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, this person does not belong to him.
So your interpretation contradicts multible passages of scripture.

For believers, it is only through the Holy Spirit that Scripture is discerned and understood.
No, you are misunderstanding my question.

We have been told that in Eccl 12:7
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
That is reasonable enough to understand.
What I am seeking to know if our spirits go back, then they also were given either at conception or no later then birth.

So do people assume that the spirit that is given to a mortal on conception or at birth is a dormant entity, one that gets breathed by God into the baby... possibly at birth, or are actual creation waiting to be assigned a person.

We are spirits. We have a soul and we live in a body. 2 of the 3 will not end up as dust, IMO.

So if the spirit is of a spirit life before birth....

Does it not hear?

I dont think there is a right or wrong question but the bible does not say.... other then the warning Matt 10:28 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

In this age, the sheep and even those who are not sheep (those who were not chosen before the foundation of the world) must believe in Jesus Christ in order to be saved.

Ephesians 1:3-13 (NKJV) 3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth--in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. 13 In Him you also [trusted,] after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
