Very few understand the book of Romans properly. You need a good historical understanding of Scripture to really understand what Paul wrote to Rome while he was yet alive.
Nature is a better source. It is what Paul used when he preached in the midst of the Areopagus in Acts 17.

What "is".... is certainly evidence. The complexity and cohesive bonds that exist in nature, though diminished from their origins, are certain evidence itself of things external to itself. There is no innate qualities of existence in our lives. We are the product of external things.

Taken as a whole, I know what you believe. You're a rather simple person. Sometimes that is good. Sometimes that is bad. When it comes to trying to quantify God, it is not good at all.
