The Deity and Authority of Jesus Christ

The meeting was brief. The Imam (who was originally from Pakistan) was courteous but didn’t mince words. I don’t think you’ll take kindly to the words which he said.

He grasped my right hand firmly and said -

A time is coming when the trinitarians will persecute you, and you will be killed by them if you don’t flee. When that time comes, run to the mosque and we will provide you with sanctuary.

He smiled sadly, turned, and walked away. I haven’t spoken with him or seen him since. I’m not even sure if he is still at that particular mosque or not.
I lived in a block of flats owned by Muslims for close to 15 years and was in a debate with various Imams myself-Sunni's- and can say this: They will put most Christians to shame, I also have 3 Qurans.
Personally, I wouldn't be concerned as to what he said brother.

Orthodox Christianity claims that Jesus of Nazareth was God in human flesh.
This is logically contradictory on 2 fronts:
  1. It cannot be that God is a trinity of 3 persons AND only one person of this trinity is God.
  2. Jesus died, proving he was not God. Scripture says Jesus is a man.

That's good enough for me. Why is it not good enough for you?

how did the debates go ?

We know that Jesus is not a deity because he died.
died how? the first death of the Body, .... which he took on, (hence) he is alive before and after the body. for there are two death.
We know his authority is derivative because it was given to him. Given to him by a deity, his Father and ours, his God and ours.
is he NOT the Father in the ECHAD? may we ask who raised that "BODY" from the DEAD? before you answer. we suggest you read John 2:18-22 first.
