The Covenant Context of Salvation

It's been a while since @JoshebB does not post.
Done. I've been very busy lately with other priorities and, despite my enjoyment with these exchanges, discussion boards aren't very high on that list.
Otherwise, @GodsGrace, if you like to continue the thread, I would be grateful.
If I find the posts getting far afield of the specified topic, I will report the posts and ask a moderator to adjudicate because it's not okay to hijack or derail someone's op for our own agenda. BAM does not have a specific rule requiring topical discourse, but it does have rules holding out "germane to the topic or post at hand," as the objective. With little effort a new op can be posted to discuss anything anyone likes without interfering with the discussion of the covenant context of salvation in Christ alone.

Everyone's collaboration is appreciated :giggle:.

.....AND the participants in the covenant are not given any choices until after their inclusion into the covenant has already been established. Yes?
Hi JoshebB

It is good to see you back.
I don’t understand your question. What kind of choices are you referring to?
Certainly we all have received from God free will to make moral choices, but please let me know what you mean in the context of the covenants.

The Covenant Context of Salvation

Let me begin by asking a question (or two). Does salvation always and exclusively occur within a covenant with Christ? Wording the same question differently, does salvation from sin and wrath ever occur outside of a covenant relationship with God's Son, Jesus?

No, we're not. Re-read the op.
The above is your reply to my long post?
Actually Joshe,,,,posting on here is also not one of my priorities,,,,
And I see that you're going in bits and pieces.....asking different questions at different times ....
this doesn't work well with threads....but good luck to you.

As to the OP:
YES
NO

So?
What's the point??

Whoa!!!!

You know Joshe
Life goes on even if YOU are not around.

YOU are the one that brought up Covenants.....
IF you want the discussion to be EXTREMELY LIMITED...
you should state that in the OP

and you should NOT ABANDON your thread.

Which is what you did....
and expected it to just stop???

Whoa!!!!

.....AND the participants in the covenant are not given any choices until after their inclusion into the covenant has already been established. Yes?
I deleted my reply because I'm not sure what you mean by the above
but am no longer willing to discuss this with you.

. Abraham was asked to make a choice, but it was not until after his inclusion into the covenant. Israel was asked to make a choice, but it was only after the covenant was established.
I’m not following you when you use the word “choices”. Please explain what choices you are referring to.
Abraham and Hebrews made choices every day, as we all do.
I will entertain a digression for one post: Can you provide me with a formal doctrinal statement from an orthodox Christian denomination or sect (not a cult) asserting salvation from sin is possible apart from Jesus Christ? Just name the denomination/sect and link me to their statement of faith or formal doctrine (either Christological or soteriological).
No, I can’t. That is what makes Christian a Christian.
Now, what “apart from Christ “ means, is debated among Christians. That’s a different story.
