I had a lady walk up to me several years ago at an airport and just start chatting away like she hadn't seen me in 30 years. I just let her go on for a while because I don't know if I recognized her or not......
She finally said "you're not, so and so, are you"?
Sorry. I'm not him and she just walked away.

apparently i have a doppelganger..... in japan...
a friend from college who was born in japan moved back there after graduation..... she saw someone she thought had to be me - running in a highschool track meet... she said for a couple of hours she thought it was me.... ....then she realized even if i was in japan and neglected to tell her... there is no way i would be in highschool and running in a track meet..... .. she sent me a video of it... i was shocked myself at the similarity.....
