Scripture teaches that Jesus was not involved in his resurrection

John 2:19-21 is Scriptural support.
Obviously this is metaphoric language: “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again.” It's a propehcy.

In John 2:22, John uses the aorist tense to refer to a completed action in the past, but used the passive voice because the subject receives the action; i.e., "After he was raised" (as opposed to "After he raised himself" in the active voice)

Means John is saying Jesus didn't resurrect himself.

Which doesn't negate what will take place.

He receives the action unto Himself.
Being God, He can do this.

New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology (NIDNTT): What the Jews at best considered possible, and to be expected, apart from their belief in eschatological resurrection (Jn. 11:24; Martha), was that someone should be preserved from death, even as in the OT: "Could not he... have kept this man from dying?" (Jn. 11:37). But now God, the Lord over life and death, stood in person before them (3:280, Resurrection, L. Coenen).

The passive voice is explicit about what someone receives, not something they inherently already possess. Once again, the language of the New Testament is proof that Jesus did not resurrect himself. Jesus received a resurrection, not performed a resurrection on himself. Means he isn't God.

This is not a circular discussion. I have already addressed post #36 by discussing the language of John 2:22. I have provided progression, but you seem to want to go back to an already discussed point. That won't be happening. Address what I said in post #43.

It is an insane one dealing with your confusion.

Jesus possesses this power. See John 2:19.

Slam!

Which doesn't negate the truth that it is conveying.
It was indeed a true prophecy. After that, Jesus was dead for three days until the Father resurrected him.

Acts 10:40
"But God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen."

Galatians 1:1
"Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead..."

...raised Himself from the dead.
Nonsense. Paul mentioned Jesus and God in the same sentence, yet only referred to one singular person resurrecting Jesus. The Bible is consistent on who God is being the Father and who God is not.

Galatians 1:1
"Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead..."

What happened to you?

You are very confused.

The entire Biblical narrative speaks of one person resurrecting Jesus every time it is mentioned. It is never described as a joint effort that invovles Jesus.

Acts 2:24
"But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him."

Acts 2:32
"God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it."

Acts 3:15
"You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this."

Acts 4:10
"Then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead..."

Romans 8:11

1 Peter 1:21

Should be looked at while not ignoring passages that refute your heresy.

Get with it.
On the matter of the resurrection, the Bible consistently describes Jesus as in no way being involved in his resurrection. I am calling check mate at this point since you cannot disprove this, going on three pages now. Thanks for giving me the floor to prove that Jesus is not God.

You should stop trying to erase John 2:19.

You won't ever be able to do it.

Listen and learn.
