Rethinking PSA

I would go a little further. I'm okay with some sense of wrath associated in the physical death of the man Jesus Christ. Not to the level most PSA advocates demand.

This body we have and that the Lord Jesus had is thoroughly broken in death.

yes but the wrath, persecution, anger, vengeance, retribution, killing, murder came from the hands of wicked men, not God.

IOW, don't make it more worse than it already is.

None of us want our sin to be "that bad" or God to be "quite that holy."

That is the natural prideful and rebellious and idolatrous resistance to God honoring his holiness through PSA.

Do you think your sins smell like roses? Do you think they do not deserve wrath?

Reflect on your pride here. You just don't want your sin to cost that much.

I don't believe you actually understand how bad your sin actually is yourself.

At a time you should be a teacher, you have need of teacher yourself. Is that sin? Not being what you can be for God?

How does that affect your brothers on this earth?

You believe all that is gone from you in Christ. Whether you admit it or not, that is what your theology demands.

You believe "I'm sorry", "save me" fixes everything. It just starts a new life where you're still a child.

The holiness of God is exactly why Jesus didn't have to suffer the spiritual wrath of God for you. He was so much better than you. His quality is so much better than your quality....

Yet, you're actually the one "dragging" Him down to you.

There is no holiness in PSA.

In fact is produces unholiness in its adherents. They remain enslaved to sin, not slaves to Christ. Christ set us free from sin and believers are no longer in bondage held captive and sin is no longer their master.

So I ask how does you love life look like serving God ?

Holy or still sinful ?

Next fallacy
