Redeemed from unbelief !

The superlative nature of Gods saving Grace delivered Paul from his natural hatred, unbelief and ignorance towards Christ and His People and begat in him both Love and Faith towards them 1 Tim 1:12-15

12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Notice how he describes the working of grace in Vs 14 "exceeding abundant" greek hyperpleonazō:
  1. to be exceedingly abundant
  2. to overflow
  3. to possess in excess , to superabound

Its the only place its used in the NT and its in the active voice !
Paul is saying that this effectual abundant grace super abounding towards him is the active cause of his faith and love in Christ Jesus.

Now there is another scripture very similar in the exalting of Grace Rom 5:20

20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

So unbelief cannot withstand the Super abounding of Grace towards Gods elect.

Not only did Christs Death redeem them He died for from all iniquity, but it also produced a peculiar people zealous of good works Titus 2:14

14 Who gave himself for us[In Death], that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
, Titus 2:14 sees Christ’s redemptive aim as creating “a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds,” accomplished by “purifying” them. https://biblehub.com/greek/2511.htm
