"Patience is a virtue"

The proverbial phrase "Patience is a virtue" is said to have originated with a poem by Prudentius . While this maybe true, Patience has it origins in God's very character. Thank God for being Patient with all of humanity. Paul listed "patience" as the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22. The "fruit of the Spirit" is God's very character being produced in His very own. No wonder John the Beloved said...
1Jn 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
