Psalm 49:7 declares the following.

" No man can possibly redeem his brother or pay his ransom to God. "

If Christ is only a man then He cannot redeem anyone. To say Christ is only a man and yet redeemed you or saved you makes God a liar.

This passage alone is proof that Jesus is not just a man for no man can give his life as a payment for another man to redeem him. Unless that man is also God then that man can give Hs life for not only another man but for all mankind. Christ is our Savior and our Redeemer because He is both God and man.

Had He not been a man He could not of died for our sins.
Had He not been God He could not of been our Kinsman Redeemer and our Savior.

hope this helps !!!

You really should use the Scriptures for correction and instruction, not cherry pick them for self-justification Civic. For example;

Psalms 49: 6 "They that trust in "their wealth", and boast themselves in the multitude of "their riches""; 7 "None of them" can by any means redeem his brother, nor "give to God" a ransom for him: 8 (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) 9 That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.

Jesus was a man who didn't trust in His own wealth, nor did HE trust in His Riches.

It was God the Father who sanctified and sent Jesus into the World. It was God the Father who accepted the sacrifice, the Blood of Jesus to reconcile sinful men to Himself. And this, as the Jesus "of the Bible teaches", "that they might know thee" the only true God, "and" Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent". At least this is what the Holy Scriptures teach.

This passage alone is proof that Jesus is not just a man for no man can give his life as a payment for another man to redeem him.

The passage above teaches that no man who relies on his own riches or wisdom can redeem another. Read it again Civic. Jesus was a man, but didn't trust in His own will, His own wisdom, His own power. He was a man who trusted God with all His Heart and soul. And for this HE was accepted as a ransom for others.

Unless that man is also God then that man can give Hs life for not only another man but for all mankind. Christ is our Savior and our Redeemer because He is both God and man.

I believe what the Scriptures teach when a man considers them all.

Had He not been a man He could not of died for our sins.

This is true. Jesus the man offered to God His Father, His Own Human, mortal life. And God accepted it, because HE was Sinless and His Life had value.
Had He not been God He could not of been our Kinsman Redeemer and our Savior.

To say HE was 100% Fully God, means HE risked nothing, couldn't die, couldn't be tempted. Which means HE accomplished nothing extraordinary at all. That HE didn't "overcome" anything. That when the going got tough for Him, as it does for all men, HE didn't need the Father, or Faith, or humility, HE just kicked in His Own God powers no other human had ever had access to. Which makes His whole life a scam, His death, an illusion. It demeans and destroys His Sacrifice as fake, and means HE overcame Sin by cheating. It means HE Glorified Himself and gave Himself a Name above others.

That isn't the Jesus "of the bible", in my view.
