Is open Theism biblical

Good morning, Tom.

I believe Open Theism is biblical. Many times, God has changed His mind. Just yesterday, I was reading in Ezekiel 20:9 when God had second thoughts.

Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt. But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.

- Ezekiel 20:7-9 (KJV)

Well golly gosh you got it

God did not determine your sin

Therefore, it was not a real thing which could be known
Didn’t you know god determined lawsons 5 year affair all the while teaching and preaching every week living a double life then when found out was kicked out of all ministries by the Calvinists who believe god ordained it and caused his sinful lifestyle to occur.

This is the hypocrisy within that belief system. They give the their doctrine lip service and when the rubber meets the road in real life they shoot their wounded and abandon them.

Referencing your view. See the "as you said"? Are you really that desperate?

Um these were your words in the sentence

Changing your mind is not lying. "He changes mind based on unforseen circumstamces."

"
He does not know what does not exist yet as you said."

Are you really that desparate

Yes God changes his mind. He is relational and responds according to circumstances in the lives of men and his love and his overall plans for mankind

That would leave them fighting against God's will if they were consistent.

Their response however is contrary to what their theology teaches

ditto which shows the contradictions in their theology. they believe it on paper but not in reality. they give it lip service.

You are the one who who never addresses rebuttal and diverts by asking questions

and sorry your words stand

"He changes mind based on unforseen circumstamces."

Referencing your view. Don't be scared, it's your view. Embrace it.

lawson was not saved as he taught that anyone who was not faithful to their wife was deceived and a lost person. His own words, teaching. so like many I know in that camp his faith was only academics not practical and a living abiding one. sad indeed and then to blame it on his god too. what a terrible belief system.
