Is open Theism biblical

No it is not the idea God is not sovereign

Nor is it even the idea God does not know the future

It's that the future is not a thing as it does not yet exist

From the scriptures we find

God has regrets
He tests to know
He searches the heart to know

these are things God comes to know in time
Ok, but what about things in the bible that God says will happen and 3000 years later they do. God is a spiritual being who transcends all physical limitations. He is infinite and cannot be limited by space or time. The Bible says that God is not limited to time and that He is the one who inhabits eternity. Psalm 90 is a psalm all about time and God’s power over it. It shows that we are subject to time, but God is not.

God can determine he will do certain things and by his power he can bring them about

So regarding the future some things are open, some things are closed - i.e. settled

God can determine he will do certain things and by his power he can bring them about

So regarding the future some things are open, some things are closed - i.e. settled

Somethings are open as in God has no idea they will occur? Whoops, didn't see that coming.

Somethings are open as in God has no idea they will occur? Whoops, didn't see that coming.
As they have not been settled

Example

1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV 1900) — 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

If it's not settled then the outcome is unknown. Duh

Really? So did Christ love you at the cross since you were not a real thing that could be known?
Dodging again?

The issue is the sin you did not have to commit but

He loved all mankind he did not have to have me in particular in mind or you for that matter

So He did not die for you in paticular and since the future is open and He can change His mind maybe He decided not to love all mankind at some point. 🤣 including you and I

He died for all who would ever be born

Seeing as he does not lie no he would not change his mind

NOWHERE does it say Christ died for all who would ever be born.

Your lame attempt at topic change duly noted.

May Christ changed His mind and only died for those up to the cross. All your proof texts are in the present tense. After all the future is open

Seeing as he does not lie no he would not change his mind

and as you spoke of Christ dying for me noting how Christ died for all men is not a diversion at all

All men would include all men who are ever born

Nowhere does it say Christ died for all who were ever born.
They do if you open your eyes and believe

Changing your mind is not lying. He changes mind based on unforseen circumstamces. He does not know what does not exist yet as you said.

Does it? Prove it. QUESTION BEGGING

Never stated changing your mind is lying

But if there were no change of circumstances then it would be lying

But you just gave it all away

and confessed God has unforeseen circumstances

Hello

You just destroyed your own position

LOL

So God can change His mind and in the end not save you. Who knows what the future brings.

Never said God has unforeseen circumstances. You do however. There has to be in your dumb view.

Referencing your view professor. 🙄

He can in your theology. The future is open remember? God cannot know what does not exist remember? God can change His mind remember? God can change His mind remember? So maybe He will change His mind and condemn you.
