In defining the doctrine of "inspiration"..... one must recognize that the power of God "overcomes" the inabilities of man. That the origins of "INSPIRED" words come from a the Divine. Perfection. Through the Holy Spirit.
Would you be surprised to learn that the Spirit of God spoke through Balaam?
Num 24:2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.
That is why we reference "INSPIRED" words as "revelation".
No matter how you looks at this.... "missing the mark" is not just about every individual. It is really about the proper "measuring stick". There is only One. Jesus Christ. ALL MEN are less than the "mark" throughout their entire lives.
What do we have that we haven't received from another? This is true of every one of us individually.
1Co 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
