God is Love

My love is all-embracing.

Isaiah 40:11
He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young. NLT

When I look at you dear one, I see you as one of My beloved little lambs who I hold close to My heart. You may not see yourself that way, and I understand why. After all, sheep are not the strongest or smartest of animals, and they are definitely not the swiftest.

But what makes them so lovable to Me, is their absolute need for a shepherd. They need to be cared for. They need to be led. They need to be protected. And so it is with you too My little lamb. You may think you are self-sufficient, but in reality, you need a loving shepherd to care for you.

So fear not little flock, know that it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. If you can just humble yourself, you will see your desperate need to be cared for. And it is in this place of identifying as one of My little lambs, that you will experience My all-embracing love, holding you close to My heart in this very moment.

My love is compassionate.

Psalm 103:13-14
13 The same way a loving father feels toward his children-- that’s but a sample of your tender feelings toward us, your beloved children, who live in awe of you. 14 You know all about us, inside and out. You are mindful that we’re made from dust. TPT

If you want to try and picture My heart toward you dear one, think of the most loving father you can imagine and multiply that times infinity. And then you will only just begin to comprehend My compassionate heart toward you. For I am the God of all comfort and the Father of Compassion.

You may think that when I look upon your frailties, I may be disappointed, but the opposite is true. For I know all about you and am deeply aware of your fragile human condition. For as I formed Adam out of the dust of the earth, so you were created with the same limitations.

The truth is, that your weakness actually attracts My grace, and your brokenness causes My heart to well up with compassion toward you. So don't be afraid to be vulnerable in My sight, for even in this very moment, My compassionate love is sharing in your sufferings.

My beloved, I want you to know just how much joy you bring to My heart simply because you are My child. There needs to be no other reason for Me to rejoice over you with songs of pure delight. For when I look upon you, I see you through the lens of My Son who has become eternally unified with you.

If you would dare to believe this to be true, it will change how you see Me this side of heaven. Instead of trying to run away from Me, you will have the confidence to run toward Me. Instead of trying to please Me with an endless pursuit of good works, you will finally be able to believe I love you the way you are. And that will lead you to a place of contentment and rest.

So let My Holy Spirit open your spiritual ears today so you can truly hear My songs of delight over you. And ask Him to open the eyes of your heart too, so you can know the hope of your calling and your glorious inheritance together with all the saints.

James 3:17
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. NLT

My love for you is pure and peace loving dear one. It will never manipulate or control you. For it springs from a beautiful place of innocence in the very depths of My heart. And if you yield to it, My love will bring a wisdom that will gently teach you to walk in My beautiful humility. And humility will result in a fruitfulness in your life that is full of mercy and good deeds.

So just surrender to My goodness today and allow My abiding presence to love you just like I love My beloved Son, Jesus. For in My heart of love, I can show no favoritism, because I can only love with one level of intensity. ... And that is with all My heart, all My mind and all My strength.

So be encouraged today My child. For when I look at you, I see Christ in you. And when I look at Christ, I see you eternally joined with Him.

Isaiah 42:3
He will not crush the weakest reed or put out a flickering candle. He will bring justice to all who have been wronged. NLT

When you are feeling battered and bruised and do not have strength to go on, be assured My little one, that I am holding you close to My heart even then. For I understand each one of your struggles and I am familiar with all your pain.

And I want you to know just how much My compassionate heart is with you when your light feels at its dimmest. I understand there are times when you may not always feel My abiding presence, but know this... I promise to be close to you when your heart is broken and I will save you when you are crushed in your spirit.

So lean into My breast today dear one, so you can experience the tenderness of My comforting love in this very moment. For I am the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort and I will be with you even to the ends of the earth.

But even if we are faithless, he will still be full of faith, for he never wavers in his faithfulness to us! TPT

My dear child, even when you struggle to believe that I am who I say I am, know in your heart that My faithfulness never wavers. For the love that I have for you predates creation itself and My commitment to you is steadfast for all eternity.

I understand the times when you feel faithless because of disappointments that this broken world brings you. But I want you to know in the very core of your being, even in those times of great doubt, I am full of faith for you because I have bonded My heart with yours through Christ forever.

So rejoice in the reality that My love for you is not conditional and based on your own ability to be faithful. My steadfast love for you has always been and will always be based on My faithfulness that is the same yesterday, today and forever.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, NLT

My Son came to release you from all that has kept you captive in order for you to live out your true destiny as My beloved child. His death and resurrection secured the way for you to be reborn into My Kingdom so you could truly call Me, 'Father'.

So embrace this new freedom will all your heart My child. Know that My Spirit has given you a crown of beauty for your ashes. A garment of praise for your spirit of heaviness. The oil of joy for your times of mourning. And a double portion of your inheritance that comes with everlasting joy.

This is My heart for you dear one. To be released into your birthright as My beloved heir and a co-heir with your big brother Jesus. All you have to do is believe it and receive it like a little child.

If you want to know how much I value you My dear child, all you have to do is see the price I was willing to pay for your redemption. For I gave up everything I loved in order to gain your love. So if you ever doubt My heart for you, look no further than the cross of Christ, for it is the eternal token of My love for you.

In the same way My beloved Son's hands were pierced for your salvation, so I have engraved you on the palms of My own hands. For you are of infinite worth to Me and the pearl of great price that I ransomed My Son for.

The more you are able to believe your true value to Me, the more you will be able to rest in My loving care over every detail of your life. For if I feed the birds of the air, how much more will I look after you?

For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” NLT

I understand dear one how you can be distracted by the hustle and bustle of every day life. I am aware of the many things that are competing for your attention and the incessant noise that tries to steal your peace and make you afraid.

But be of good cheer My little flock, for My great love will calm all your fears and quiet you in My presence. For I want to convince you more today than yesterday that I am your true Father and the One who promises to look after all your needs.

If you would take the time to still your heart in this very moment, you will experience Me loving you even now, with a love that will set your heart at rest.

Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! NLT


Sometimes My children think of faith as something that is mechanical and not relational. But the truth is dear one, that faith will lead you to an encounter with love, if you look for it. So I invite you today to taste and see of My eternal goodness.

For My love for you is not meant to be intellectualized in your mind but to be experienced in your heart. That is why little children are considered great in My sight. For their beautiful little hearts are wide open and ready to receive as much love as they can get.

So simply open your heart to Me and let My Spirit pour out a greater measure of My love than you have ever experienced before. For He will give you power to grasp the immeasurable height and depth, breadth and width of My love that is yours in Christ today.

My love authorizes you.

Luke 10:19
Now you understand that I have imparted to you my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will harm you as you walk in this authority. TPT

My little one, I want to remind you of the heavenly authority that has been imparted to you this day. It has not been given to you because of your own good works or self effort, but simply for love's sake. For you are My beloved heir and a co-heir with your big brother, Jesus. And it has given Us great joy to see you share in the entire Kingdom inheritance.

If you would just dare to believe this to be true today, any fear of unseen enemies in the supernatural realm, will be consumed by the fire of My love. For perfect love casts out all fear. So don't be afraid of anything that opposes you. For if I am for you, nothing can stand against you.

Just take a deep breath, and be reminded of this truth... Though you may see your own image reflecting in a mirror, in the supernatural realm, all creation sees you as more than a conqueror through My love in Christ today.

26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” 27 So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. NLT

My precious child, I want to remind you of your divine origins today. For you were created by love and for love, in the image of love itself. That is why the need for love is woven into your very DNA.

The fallen world which you live in, might try and dismiss your divine origins but do not listen to the lies that would try to rob you of your true identity and destiny. For I lovingly created you in My image to be a one-of-a-kind reflection of My nature. For there has never been anyone created that uniquely reflects My image like you do dear one.

So in whatever you do today, be reminded that My likeness is shining through you because you are My image bearer.

And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, NIV

I want you to experience the abundant supply of My goodness today dear child. For I am much more gracious and compassionate than you could ever possibly hope for. And it is My desire that you would experience a fresh encounter of My everlasting affection for you in this very moment.

For I am not like an earthly father whose love is conditional and limited. My love for you is abounding and eternal and is continually flowing from My heart to yours by the outpouring of My Spirit in your inner being.

So simply receive a fresh revelation of the infinite supply of My kindness that I want to release to you today by My Spirit. For My goodness and My mercy will never run dry and you can have as much as you want.

When you begin to grasp at a deeper heart level, just how precious My love is, you will realize that My love is better than life itself. For everything in life, rests on the foundation of My eternal goodness.

The more you believe I am for you in every way, the less you will be afraid of things that oppose you. The more you believe I am always with you, the less lonely you will feel. The more you believe I will provide and protect you because I am your loving Father, the less room there will be for worry and anxiety.

So dive deep into the eternal ocean of My goodness today dear child. For as you make love your greatest aim, you will discover just how it will impact every area of your life.

Deuteronomy 7:9
Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. NLT

I want you to know My enduring faithfulness and My unfailing love more today than yesterday. For the love I have for you is steadfast and it will cover you and your family for a thousand generations.

I also want to remind you that My goodness is not based on your good works and My faithfulness does not depend on your faith. My love is not a human love that is often fickle and conditional. My love is beyond anything you have experienced this side of heaven and it flows from everlasting to everlasting.

This is something that you can know and experience today My little one, if you would just simply believe it to be true. For My covenant of love is for you and for a thousand generations that come after you.

For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ NLT

My dear child, I want you to know just how close I am to you today. Your very existence is found in the center of My being, for you are My beloved offspring. There are some people who think I am distant and angry, but it is actually My love that holds everything in the universe together. For the universe does not contain Me, I contain the universe in My heart.

So today dear one, I want to dismantle any misconceptions you might have of separation between you and Me. Because of your eternal union with Jesus, you are eternally united with Me. Though hardships might want to try and convince you otherwise, the truth is nothing in all creation can ever separate you from My love in Christ.

So be encouraged today knowing that wherever you go, My presence goes with you and My love is, and will always be all around you.

may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen. NLT

As you live out your life today dear one, remember that I will always give you the power to follow My leading. I will never ask you to do something that I haven't first equipped you to do. For My Spirit is always at work within you to lead you into all I have planned and purposed for your life.

There might be times in this leading process, where you will feel completely unqualified or weak. But don't worry My little lamb, because it is in your weakness that the strength of Jesus is made perfect in you. So don't be afraid to be weak as I lead you, for I love to give help to My helpless children.

So be of good courage today and watch how My Spirit will lead you into all truth. Remember that He will equip you with all you need to do My will. All you need to do is simply follow.

9 “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. 10 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. NLT

The calling for you today dear one is to simply remain in the love that I have for you in Christ. There is nothing else you have to do but to make your home in My heart. It's that simple. When you live in love, you live in Me and I live in you.

And when love becomes your greatest aim, you will begin to discover that your new heart will direct you into a beautiful obedience to My plan and purpose for your life. For I created you to do good works in Christ long before you were born.

So don't be distracted by the restless, fallen world that is calling you to pursue other things. Remain in My love and as you do, you will experience the deep fellowship of My affection, that will set your heart at rest.

This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. NLT

One of the ways My love for you is expressed is in how I gently guide you in the way you should go. Oftentimes, you are unaware of My prompting, thinking rather that it is some random thought which just happened to pop into your brain.

But I want you to know dear one, that I am participating in every area of your life down to the most minutest detail. That is why I have even taken the time to number every one of the hairs on your head. All because of your infinite worth to Me!

So I want you to open up your senses and recognize My teaching moments that are found in this day. If you have ears to hear what My Spirit is saying, you will be surprised to realize how involved We are in your every day life.
