Facing mortality.....

We often ignore the bad feelings and uncertainty that come with "staring Death in the face" from recent events. I don't know where this conflict is going to go in the Israel. I'm convinced that Israel will not stop until they have destroyed Hamas and maybe Hezbollah. Each and every day that the fighting continues, it draw more and more people into the conflict. I also believe the Israel is willing to use Nuclear weapons to defend themselves. Maybe even preemptively. Such thoughts are unsettling to the say the least.

This "unsettlement" that we experience comes with seeing our own mortality right in front of us.....Mortality right in front for those near to us. We can also be confident that many of them have the same fears.

It is good that we are here in this moment. Good that we are facing what we need to face every day of our lives. The very real possibility that today will be our last day.

When you think of "Last days".... just don't make it about Eschatology...... Realize that it is really about our own fragile mortality.

Isa 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

I hear you, It's something that's been on my mind quite a bit lately. But it just makes me all the more grateful that God saved me. And I'm also thankful for the life that I have today. Bible tells us the life we have here is short like a puff of vapor. That's why it's important to live it in love and forgiveness. I like to think of the verse that says "righteousness peace and joy in the holy ghost that's the kingdom of God" Romans 14:17.

I'm so glad I'm part of the kingdom. I'm so glad Jesus set me free.
