Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” with a dollop of "free will".

To you and King Jimmy
And the one who inspired the Apostle Paul to write Gal 5:22

Also I will add something that defines Faith and Faithfulness:

Is Faith and faithfulness related?

Yes, faithfulness is directly related to faith, where faith is belief and confidence, and faithfulness is the action of living in accordance with that belief. Faith is the conviction that can lead to faithfulness, which is the outward demonstration of that inner belief through obedience, loyalty, and consistent action.

Google search is faith related to faithfulness

So both are true and fruit of the Spirit,

Gill writes and I agree on Gal 5:22 and faith

faith; for though fidelity, both in words and actions, which is very ornamental to the Gospel, and a profession of religion may be meant; yet faith in Christ is not to be excluded, as it is generally by interpreters; for this is not of a man's self, nor have all men it: it is a gift of God, the operation of his power, and the work of his Spirit, whence he is styled the spirit of faith; and which therefore must have a place among his fruits; and which lies and shows itself in believing in Christ for salvation, in embracing the doctrines of the Gospel, and making a profession of them, which is called the profession of faith; all which, when right, comes from the Spirit of God.

As you say " Faith is the conviction that can lead to faithfulness"

As Gal 5 :22 NKJV says " 22 But the fruit of the Spirit
is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

ERGO: Faith comes before the fruit of the Spirit. Faith leads to faithfulness.

Yes so we back to what I first stated, Faith is the fruit of the Spirit, that supports regeneration B4 faith.

Give up Faith being a fruit of the spirit according to Galatians 5:22 I will never give that up
One must have faith so that one may receive the Spirit

Acts 2:38 (LEB) — 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 3:2 (LEB) — 2 I want only to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Galatians 3:5 (LEB) — 5 Therefore does the one who gives you the Spirit and who works miracles among you do so by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Ephesians 1:13 (LEB) — 13 in whom also you, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also when you believed you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

John 7:38–39 (LEB) — 38 the one who believes in me. Just as the scripture said, ‘Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.’ ” 39 (Now he said this concerning the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were about to receive. For the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.)

Galatians 3:14 (LEB) — 14 in order that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

So that verse does not support your Calvinist theology.

No. The faithfulness of the fruit of the Spirit, along with all the other fruit comes after the believing faith.

Faith is the fruit of the Spirit Gal 5 22
Why do you ignore the rest of the fruit? But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

You never talk of the 6 other fruit that is listed when it is obvious any of them come before faithfulness in importance

When did I do that? I'm talking about Faith at this time, but love is the fruit of the Spirit, too
This is the verse.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

But the fruit of the Spirit starts with love and ends with faithfulness 7 total fruits.

The Fruit of the Spirit considers love to be the most important for they never list the least first. Always descending unless stated otherwise.

When faith is of the utmost importance in our beliefs.... never would they have listed the "feel good fruit first.

love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, and push anything that is the faith we need off to last.

You simply have the wrong scripture to prove your point....

Faithfulness means being loyal and steadfast in your commitments, whether to a person, cause, or duty. It often involves keeping promises and remaining true to one's word, especially in relationships like marriage.

Biblical Faith

faith is a strong trust and confidence in God and His promises, often described as believing in what we cannot see. It involves not just intellectual agreement but also a commitment to act according to that belief, as seen in Hebrews 11:1, which states that faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen.

Faith and faithfulness are related but not the same. Faith generally refers to belief or trust in something, while faithfulness involves loyalty and consistent practice of that belief, often demonstrated through actions.

Most translations use faithfulness in you scripture but KJV uses faith. Even the NKJV switched back to faithfulness and
a few others that came after KJV also use faith , but are not well known or well translated
