All Choices Have Consequences - God can and will cut you back if you are Child of His.

I don’t even have thoughts concerning sins anymore… I just know what’s good and bad for me personally.

“All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.” — 1 Corinthians 6:12
“Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.” — Romans 14:5
“Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves.” — Romans 14:22

God knows my heart. I know when I’m mean or hateful to people.
“The Lord searches all hearts and understands every intent of the thoughts.” — 1 Chronicles 28:9
“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you… and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:31–32
“Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” — Matthew 12:34

We all fall short. I can talk to God about my issues.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” — Hebrews 4:16
“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.” — Psalm 55:22

He already forgave me. There’s no reason to keep trying to ‘change my behavior.’
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” — Ephesians 1:7
“For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” — Hebrews 10:14
“It is finished.” — John 19:30

Changing your behavior doesn’t get you anywhere with God… because God loves the person who struggles with pedophilia, or with murderous thoughts, or with drugs or whatever.
“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.” — 1 John 4:18
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

Jesus paid for your sins… it’s over.
“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” — 2 Corinthians 5:21
“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” — Psalm 103:12
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1

All choices have consequences. Whether postive or negative. God himself can cut you back.
Because pruning hurts. And we’ve been trained to flinch at anything that doesn’t feel like favor.
But “God forbid”—literally—that He would do something that wounds us…
even if it’s the kind of wound that heals.

“For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and chastises every son whom He receives.”
Hebrews 12:6

Pulled back in your flesh…
like Yeshua’s back, scourged raw by Roman whips.
You say you want to share in His glory?
Then don’t skip the fellowship of His suffering.

“That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and may share His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death…”
Philippians 3:10

What does that mean?
It means the Gardener has shears.
And He’s not afraid to use them.

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away,
and every branch that does bear fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”
John 15:1–2

So if you’re bleeding, beloved—
it might not be punishment.
It might be preparation.
It might be the blade of Yahavah,
cutting you back to make room
for the fruit of the Spirit of the resurrected Lord Yeshua
to burst through your broken places.

Pruning is essential for plant health, structure, and productivity. It removes dead or diseased parts, shapes growth, improves air and light flow, and boosts flowering or fruiting.

Here’s a deeper look at why pruning matters:

🌿 Core Benefits of Pruning

  • Improves plant health: By removing dead, diseased, or damaged branches, pruning prevents the spread of infection and encourages healing.
  • Shapes and controls growth: Pruning helps maintain size and form, ensuring plants fit their space and don’t become overgrown.
  • Boosts flowering and fruiting: Strategic cuts redirect energy to productive parts of the plant, enhancing blooms and yields.
  • Enhances air circulation and sunlight penetration: Thinning out dense growth reduces humidity and pest risk, while allowing more light to reach inner leaves.
  • Strengthens structure: Especially for trees, pruning builds durable architecture that resists wind and weight stress.
  • Increases safety: Removing hazardous limbs prevents accidents and protects property.
  • Rejuvenates old plants: Cutting back woody or tired growth can stimulate fresh, vigorous shoots.

🕰️ When to Prune

  • Late winter to early spring is ideal for most species, as plants are dormant and healing is faster.
  • After flowering is best for spring bloomers like spirea or viburnum.

He already forgave me. There’s no reason to keep trying to ‘change my behavior.’
I disagree: experiencing pain as if we were being whipped with a leather whip with bits of metal sewed into the thongs should be avoided, eh? That is the meaning of the word chastises in Heb 12:6 which is G3146: mastigoó: To scourge, to whip, to flog...

Heb 12:5-11: God Disciplines His Sons...lovingly
4In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons:

“My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord,
and do not lose heart when He rebukes you.
6For the Lord disciplines the one He loves,
and He chastises every son He receives.”b,
[ie, b Literally and He flogs every son He receives; Proverbs 3:11–12 (see also LXX)]

7Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? 8If you do not experience discipline like everyone else, then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. 9Furthermore, we have all had earthly fathers who disciplined us, and we respected them. Should we not much more submit to the Father of our spirits and live?

10Our fathers disciplined us for a short time as they thought best, but God disciplines us for our good, so that we may share in His holiness. 11No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields a harvest of righteousness and peace to those who have been trained by it.

This tells us quite clearly that our sinning is the cause for our suffering, great or small, as that suffering is the tool HE uses to make us shape up and fly right, ie, it trains us in righteousness.

When you stub your toe or get a concussion from falling off your bike or when your car is stolen then thank the Lord for His mercy and kindness for the pain, 11No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful., as it will, in the end, impel us to never choose sin again, only righteousness, it yields a harvest of righteousness and peace to those who have been trained by it.

So do what you want about not "trying to ‘change my behavior.’" but prepare yourself for the consequences... :)

All people do is talk about the trinity like it’s the most foundational thing on the planet lol.

Not so.
Sure, who cares whether Jesus was REALLY God (like he said) or not?
It is not like your salvation rest on that foundation.

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is LORD and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are SAVED. - Romans 10:9-10 [NLT]

All I know is that...

God will cut you back... The writer of Hebrews expresses that God shakes every down in which only that which is not shaken can remain. I believe that is faith, in God, and looking towards the one whom gets you to Yahavah/Yahweh/Yehovah/Jehovah, however one may say his name. That one is the Lord Jesus/Yeshua whom was the messiah. Whom was raised again by the Holy Spirit of Yahavah.

You could be poor or rich. Doesn't matter.

It sounds like you don’t believe in biblical repentance or Jesus requirement to obey His commandments. Faith without works is dead.

Scripture also says if we willingly continue in sin there remains no more sacrifice for your sins. Hebrews 10:26-27.

Well you can assume all you want.

I don’t have to cry over my sin. Anymore…

So many people get on that cycle of constantly repenting but never follow through with being able to change their actions.

That’s not what repenting is about. It’s about changing one’s mine towards God and looking to him in faith and understanding you are forgiven and that you can have a relationship with him freely and he is not angry with you.

Jesus taught man to Repent. So your argument is not against me it’s against what Jesus taught about repenting of sin.

Matthew 4:17
From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

Luke 5:32
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

3340 metanoéō (from 3326 /metá, "changed after being with" and 3539/noiéō, "think") – properly, "think differently after," "after a change of mind"; to repent(literally, "think differently afterwards").

Thayers Greek Lexicon
to change one's mind for the better, heartily to amend with abhorrence of one's past sins: Matthew 3:2; Matthew 4:17; Mark 1:15 (cf. Matthew 3:6 ἐξομολογούμενοι τάς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν; Matthew 3:8 and Luke 3:8 καρπούς ἀξίουςτῆς μετανοίας, i. e. conduct worthy of a heart changed and abhorring sin); (Matthew 11:20; Mark 6:12); Luke 13:3, 5; Luke 15:7, 10; Luke 16:30; Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19; Acts 17:30; Revelation 2:5, 16; Revelation 3:3, 19

2 Corinthians 7:9
Yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us

Jesus’ Teaching

Though the noun appears only twice on the lips of Jesus (Matthew 3:11 through John; Luke 24:47 in His post-resurrection commission), His preaching constantly demanded repentance (see Matthew 4:17; Luke 13:3). In Luke 24:47 He roots world evangelization in “repentance for the forgiveness of sins … in His name,” binding the missionary mandate to the call for moral and spiritual turnaround.

Apostolic Proclamation

Acts displays repentance as foundational in apostolic preaching:
• At Pentecost Peter instructs the crowd to repent (verb form) and receive baptism (Acts 2:38).
• Later, “God has granted the Gentiles also repentance unto life” (Acts 11:18).
• Paul summarizes his entire ministry: “testifying to both Jews and Greeks about repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts 20:21).

Repentance is therefore neither ethnic nor cultural; it is universally required.

Repentance and Faith

Repentance and faith are distinct yet inseparable graces. Paul pairs them in Acts 20:21, and Hebrews 6:1 lists “repentance from dead works and faith in God” as foundational. Repentance faces sin; faith embraces the Savior. Together they describe repentance

Conclusion: repentance is necessary

Revelation 2:5,21,22
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent

Revelation 3:19
Those I love I rebuke and discipline. Therefore be earnest and repent

hope this helps !!!

Repenting is change of mind.

You change to looking towards God.

If one starts to learn more about God through the bible, they will become more influenced to abide in the Lord Yeshua.

Sure, everyone sins and falls short. Lol. A predator is caught and says "Oh I know I was talking to children, but I believe it's okay because of Jesus Christ." I would be shocked... not judging the person but still believe the crime is wrong.

That's what happens, people do wrong things and actually by and through establishing a relationship with God through Yeshua, they are transformed into a new person in Christ... and it's his spirit which is leading them to act when they do.

That doesn't mean you can't cuss, or you can't use marijauana for say those whom are medically inclined to have by a doctor, or whatever...

I believe it was Paul who said All things were lawful for him, but not all things were benefical.

Another question that comes to mind is this - Can people have an open relationship freely alone with God. Yes. Are they able to ask him for his help concerning the things they have problems with. Yes.
