So are the saved one body or two different bodies?
The Gentiles make up most of the body of Christ because the JEWS denied Him.
I HAVE OTHER SHEEP I MUST GO TO.
A word of advice for you
@GodsGrace ..
If you tell the members that you are not going to post on My Thread, and you then come and post again, and again, then they will notice that you are not honest.
So, ...... thats
FYI.
Listen,
One body of Christ., and its mostly Gentiles.
All Believers are born again..
All believers are "heirs of God".. "joint heirs with Jesus" and have become "Saints"., long before the Catholic Cult started handing out SaintHood medals.
The body of Christ (That is not the "cult of Mary)..= was birthed by The Cross of Christ and not by ....... water baptism.
So do we not obey Jesus?
You like Paul better?
Jesus is my Lord and Savior and King and Advocate.
The Holy Spirit is the Teacher, and Paul's Doctrine is Church Doctrine... that is revealed to real students of the bible by the Holy Spirit.
So, when the "Christian" understands all this, then they are "following Jesus", by studying Paul's Doctrine, Ministry, and Lifestyle.
This is what Paul means when He says """be a follower of me, as I .....follow Christ""".
He seems easier to follow than following Jesus?
Paul's theology is NT Church Doctrine.
So, to learn it, is to follow Jesus, because Jesus gave it to Paul to teach to the born again.
Its what i Teach, and nothing else.
What do you think Paul teaches differnetly than Jesus?
Grace?
Paul's Doctrine, is not what Jesus was giving to the Jews,.... as Paul's Doctrine is created for the Body of Christ that began, AFTER Jesus Died.
Ephesians 2:10
10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
Colossians 3:23-24
Christians are....."created for Good work"..
This Means.......that the Christian is supposed to..>>"present your body to God, as a living sacrifice, as your reasonable SERVICE".
See, Disciple is service that happens after we are Saved.
Salvation is to become a Christian, based on God accepting our "FAITH in Christ' .........and that is not water baptism.
23Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. 24You are serving the Lord Christ.
That is Christian Discipleship.
Galatians 6:9
9And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
That is Christian discipleship.
Titus 2:14
14Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
Christian Discipleship, is to do good works for God.......as our "reasonable service"...Paul teaches
Its a service, its not our Salvation., as JESUS is our Salvation..
Salvation is Jesus on the Cross......and not water baptism.
1 Timothy 6:17-29
As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
"Good works".........this is Chrisitan Discipleship..
Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Everyone who is born again is already IN the Kingdome of God, so, we are already "Heirs of God" and "joint heirs with Christ".....=
Paul Teaches.
The Christian has "passed from DEATH..........to LIFE". and that is... to become no longer separated from God, by sin.
Paul taught exactly what Jesus taught.
Paul taught the Gentiles.......so, that is not what Jesus was teaching the "house of Israel".
2 Different Ministries, 2 Different Groups......and Jesus could not teach the JEWS = Paul's Gospel, as Paul's Gospel is "the Preaching of the Cross".......so, duiring Jesus's earthlyh Minsitry to the "House of Israel".., He could not give the Jew's Paul's Gospel,
because Jesus had not died on the Cross yet, during His Jewish minstiry.
His Death, ended it, regarding the Jews.
In the TRIBULATION>.... that follows the "time of the Gentiles".......God will resume His dealing with the JEW..... specifically.
Because Jesus was his teacher.
Yes.
Jesus came to Paul........and gave Paul ... "Paul's Gospel",... and that is not "repent and get wet". Its not water baptism is required..
Its "The Gospel of the Grace of God"..... "justificaiton by FAITH".........without works, or water.
Now, Should you be water baptized AFTER you are born again?
A.) Of course., but if this does not happen........its OK., as sometimes its impossible.
