Congratulations, that's a great way to start off this thread.My wife and I have been dating since high school in 1977. We got married in 1985 and celebrating our 40th anniversary this Saturday. I'm a lucky man.

Congratulations Civic. My bride and I had our 43rd last October. My birthday is Feb. 15th. We both are lucky men it seems.

Indeed let us thank the LORD . i was not yet quite five years of age way back in feb of seventy seven .
I popped out of the womb march of seventy two .
So now i ask a question . Now this question is of upmost dire importance .
For many buddists , atheists , muslims and etc , some have been married as long if not longer .
WHY are they STILL IN DEADLY DANGER .
And the answer is , they follow false gods .
Now for the question i had in mind for you . what if a man showed up and said
hey everyone i too have been happily married for years , and yet that man was with a man .
WHO here would say GOD honors such a marriage . I HOPE NONE WOULD . but i had to ask to remind us .
To remind us that no matter how long a marriage lasted
IF them people followed another god
and or were same sex , GOD WONT BE PLEASED . SO i say lets remind all
about the TRUE MARRIAGE . THOSE of GOD are those IN CHRIST . do be encouraged my friend .

When you and your wife got married i was not yet thirteen . Funny i still remember turning that old .

You know how you know when a man has truly been blessed with a good wife .
WHEN SHE PUTS GOD FIRST , LOVING HIM FIRST and foremost above all , even husband and children .
Cause that wife GONNA DO REAL GOOD for that family . that might surpise some to hear that .
Maybe some are wondering why i didnt say when she puts family first
BEIEVE YOU ME one who LOVETH GOD above all , WHICH means HIS CHRIST
That is one blessed family my friend and that kinda wife gonna do what is best for the family . and vice versa if a man
loveth GOD above all , He gonna do the same . WHEN GOD IS FIRST , ALL IS WELL .

Same here, only we started back in the mid sixties! Been married over 57 years! Maybe longer (58 plus) since we do have a daughter that will soon be 57, maybe I need to redo my math.My wife and I have been dating since high school in 1977. No matter how many times one has traveled around the sun , no matter how many years one has

Ol amadeus hit eighty one this last december and still he marches onward in the LORD .
Perhaps a bit slower now , but remember in our weakness the LORD makes us strong .
its hard to beleive the big fifty three is sneaking up on me in march . Oh but the way i see it
Its just another day closer to the coming of the GLORIOUS LORD . SO march on in the LORD my friends . This world is not our home .
We are but pilgrams residing in a strange land as we look forward to His coming and our new Home with HIM

Blessed is the man whose wife puts THE LORD first for that house is blessed
and Blessed is the Houshold whose husband puts the LORD first for blessed is that house .
TO the trenches my friend for the hour grows late and time in this world draws shorter by the day .

The reverse is also true blessed is the wife who's man loves the Lord above all and loves his wife as Christ loves the church and cherishes her.
