What are people's view of the message of Deuteronomy 32?
Is the outcome it describes something that is fulfilled or only a possibility?
Is it a happy passage or scary one?

This is what the digital bible gave
"Deuteronomy 32 is known as the Song of Moses, a poetic and prophetic song delivered by Moses to the Israelites before his death. The main message of Deuteronomy 32 emphasizes the faithfulness and justice of God towards His people, Israel. It recounts the history of Israel, highlighting God's care, provision, and discipline for His chosen nation. The song also warns of the consequences of turning away from God and the blessings that come from following Him faithfully. Ultimately, Deuteronomy 32 serves as a reminder of God's sovereignty, faithfulness, and the importance of obedience and faith in Him."

I have noted that Deut 32 basically provides the superstructure that other prophets augmented with more details about the destruction of the Israel nation and the fate of the empires that came against the Israel nations, as found in Daniel. It seems some of the optimism that was found about Deut 32, Zechariah 1-2 and 1 Enoch 10:20-22 was that it seemed that God was judging a wide swath of nations such that the judgment did not appear as something just about the nation of Israel. Contrary to such view, the later explanations show (like Isa 10:20-22) showed that the Israel nation (mostly centered in Jerusalem/Judea) was the ground zero. This point essentially concerns the fate of an ancient people of a distant past.
