The New birth comes after hearing/believing the gospel

He believed the good news of his salvation Ephesians 1:13
Those who do not believe will not see life

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 3:18 The one who believes in him is not judged, but the one who does not believe has already been judged, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

Mark 16:16 The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who refuses to believe will be condemned.

John 8:24 Thus I said to you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.”

1 John 5:12 The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

1 John 5:10–13 (The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. The one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning his Son.) And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life.

So scripture refutes Calvinism’s belief that unbelievers may be given life so that they may believe

So this person was already justified, born again and forgiven before even knowing how?

Acts 16:30 (KJV) And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Yes, that's why he believed the gospel, are not those things good news?

So, what if he died before anyone told him the gospel? Was he already forgiven anyway so it doesn't matter?

The gospel of one salvation means that they were saved when they heard the good news. The gospel explains to them how they were saved and who saved them.
You should say when they believed the Gospel they were saved

1 Cor 15:1–4Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

Rom 1:16For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

My understanding is that New birth comes after hearing/believing the gospel.
well after-all that is EXACTLY what the bible teaches. :)

but some do not believe the gospel message. in their theology the gospel message has no power to save anyone form their sins. But as we know Pauls says the opposite in Romans 1:16- it is the POWER of God to save all those who believe.

Hearing the gospel is not what forgives you of your sins, Christ did that by His bloodshed Matthew 26:28

28 this is my blood of the new testament, which shall be shed for many, for remission of sins.
Yeah for all who believe that, drink from it

Matthew 26:26–28 (NASB95) — 26 While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” 27 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; 28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

I believe it.

The statement is consistent with many Christian teachings that describe the new birth as a spiritual transformation that happens in connection with the gospel message. According to this view, hearing the gospel (the "good news" about Jesus) is the means by which God brings about the new birth, and this faith-filled response is what allows a person to become a child of God.
Hearing the gospel
  • The new birth is said to occur through the "living and abiding word of God," which is the gospel message itself (1 Peter 1:23).
  • This is supported by Romans 10:17, which states, "faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ".
  • This perspective suggests that hearing the gospel is essential for a person to be born again.

Believing the gospel
  • Believing in the gospel is understood as an essential part of this process.
  • It involves acknowledging Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and believing in the truth of his life, death, and resurrection.
  • Believing is not a work, but a God-given response to the gospel message that is heard.

The new birth
  • Hearing and believing the gospel are seen as inseparable from the experience of being "born again".
  • When a person hears the gospel and their faith responds, they are considered to be born again, or regenerated.
  • This process is understood to be a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, which leads to a new spiritual life.

The gospel of one salvation means that they were saved when they heard the good news. The gospel explains to them how they were saved and who saved them.
That is when they believed the gospel then were then saved

1 Cor 15:1–4 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. Them Christ died for their sins are forgiven
Sins are not forgiven until repentance

Acts 3:19Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
1 John 1:9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Acts 2:38Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Luke 24:46–47and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
2 Pet 3:9The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
Acts 5:31He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

A person believes the gospel because they are saved
As always you contradict scripture

You should say when they believed the Gospel they were saved andstop contradicting the word of God

1 Cor 15:1–4Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.
