It's nowhere denied in Scripture , in Romans 5:10 shows that a person is reconciled to God while being an active enemy, by Christ's death

The prodigal son was separated from his Father and termed dead
Dead means dead. Not seperation. Dead means absense of life.
Did his father consider simply seperated? What does the phrase your dead to me mean?
