Satan’s Strategies against God and Man

I think one needs to have an accurate understanding of this subject and that is know exactly what your position is in Christ. The Bible says Jesus was raised up FAR above principalities and powers (and we could say Satan's power) Ephesians 1:20-21 AND we're in him and are a joint heir Romans 8:17 In Him. He could have said we're raised up above Satan's power and that would be good but the Holy Spirit really stressed something here.....we're not just ABOVE them.....but we're faaaaaaaarrrrrrr ABOVE THEM. That means we're way, way, way, way, way, ABOVE THEM and we're seated with Christ in Heavenly places! Eph 2:6 Also we're MORE than conquers in Christ Rom 8:37 NOT JUST conquers but MORE so. Once we choose to embrace that and declare that and decree that with all boldness (come boldly to the throne of Grace Heb4:16) and we declare the blood of Jesus, Satan and his kingdom are the ones who get scared. Proof of that? Resist the devil and he will flee from you! James 4:7

Amen brother preach it !!!

This is all one needs.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
EPHESIANS 6:14 –17

This war against Satan is not one that we have to go into unprotected. The apostle Paul identified six pieces of spiritual armor in Ephesians 6:14–17, each one dealing with a specific area of our lives.

1. The Girdle of Truth
2. The Breastplate of Righteousness
3. The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace
4. The Shield of Faith
5. The Helmet of Salvation
6. The Sword of the Spirit

Don’t be a casualty of spiritual warfare. Get in the battle and stand strong against the enemy by wearing the full armor of God every day!

Amen! And "with What Follows the armor", let us also get busy with [ defeating Satan's attack on
"speaking boldly That Which Was [ Formerly ] Hid In God" ]:

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all
perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto
me,that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known The Mystery Of The Gospel, For which
I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."
(Ephesians 6:18-20 AV)

speaking boldly to all men?:

"And to make all men see what is the fellowship of The Mystery, Which from the beginning of
the world hath been Hid In God, Who Created all things by Jesus Christ:" (Ephesians 3:9 AV)

Paul says in Colossians 1:13 that God “has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.”

Thats, were I want to be. Spiritual Warfare I believe is Satan's attempt hijack our walk with Jesus and other believers. That ole ruler of the powers of darkness, Satan, is none too happy about what God has accomplished in Christ. So Satan’s main goal is to destroy the faith of us Christians by getting us to doubt God’s goodness, love, forgiveness, protection, provision, and promises.

In Adam and Eves time, it wasn't God's "goodness, love, forgiveness, protection, provision," that satan caused Eve to doubt. It was His Wrath, the consequences He promised for blowing off His Commandment in favor of the imaginations of your own mind.

When Satan sets up difficult circumstances in our lives, it is not just to inflict pain; it is for the purpose of destroying our trust in God.

I thought the difficult circumstances in our lives, according to Scriptures, were "trials of our Faith".

1 Corinthians 10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: "but God is faithful", who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

So who is in control of the difficult circumstances in our lives if not God? How can Faith Grow if it is not tested?

1 Peter 5:10 - But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Rom. 5: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

So then, given these and many other Scriptures, the purpose of satan is to increase men's Faith, not destroy it. At least according to the Testimony.

We know from Scripture that Satan will not win the spiritual war, but every time he gets a Christian to give up on God, he wins a spiritual battle:

According to Jesus, there are "many" who call Him Lord, Lord, that never trusted God in the first place. We are to "Take heed" we are not deceived by them. But must first prove ourselves as not being "like unto them" as Jesus teaches in Matt. 6.

1NOW THE serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he [Satan] said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, You shall not eat from every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit from the trees of the garden,
3 Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.
4 But the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die,
5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing the difference between good and evil and blessing and calamity.
Genesis 3:1–5

Satan attempts to deceive humanity in order to make God look bad.

4 But the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die,

Isn't the serpent trying to convince Eve not to trust God's Word?

5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it (In the day you reject God's Judgment) "your eyes will be opened", and you will be like God, knowing the difference between good and evil and blessing and calamity.

Isn't the prince of this world teaching that God's Laws are "against us"? That as long as we "Yield ourselves" servants to obey God, we will remain blind and ignorant.

Isn't that the same message promoted by this world's religious system today?

And he will go forth to deceive and seduce and lead astray the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth—Gog and Magog—to muster them for war; their number is like the sand of the sea. Revelation 20:8

But there are those who repent and turn to God, Yes?

Rev. 14: 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, "and" the faith "of Jesus".

Although Satan has been given temporary freedom to oppose God in this world

19 We know [positively] that we are of God, and the whole world [around us] is under the power of the evil one.
1 John 5:19

Christ came to ultimately destroy his efforts

It seems like HE came, to give us God's Armor that HE wore to resist the devils efforts. He Himself said "the prince of this world cometh", just before HE ascended into heaven. We have the Armor of God, if we believed enough to "put it on".

From the very beginning the strategy of satan was to be a voice the "professes to know God", who "transforms itself" into an Apostle of Christ. If we "put on the Armor of God, which includes living by "Every Word" that proceeds from the mouth of God, we will be able to overcome, even as HE "put on" the Armor of God and overcame.

Satan only has so many tricks up his sleeve and they are all lies.

But Jesus has overcome him. We Christians believe Jesus has overcome Satan's lies through His death and resurrection, granting us believers victory over deception and the power to overcome through God's truth, which involves resisting the devil, standing firm in scripture, and accepting God's love and forgiveness.
"Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life" John 14:6

The breakdown:

"I am the way"
Jesus positions himself as the exclusive path for humans to reach God the Father.

"I am the truth"
This indicates that Jesus is the revelation of God and the ultimate source of all truth, not just a teacher of it.

"I am the life"
Jesus declares himself the source of eternal life, with power over death, offering spiritual life and resurrection to believers.
