Deuteronomy 30:10 "If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul." Deuteronomy 30:11 "For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off." Deuteronomy 30:12 "It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?" Deuteronomy 30:13 "Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?" Deuteronomy 30:14 "But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it."

the apostle Paul refers to it in establishing the Law of FAITH.

Romans 10:6 "But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above)" Romans 10:7 "Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)" Romans 10:8 "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;" Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:10 "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

why was this Command not Obeyed, for "the Just must live by his Faith".

this was a command by God to Moses for the People to Obey.

Looking at Deuteronomy 30, and Matthew 17 of the transfiguration of Christ when Moses and Elijah appeared in a vision. the Jews had been looking for Elijah to come, as well as the Messiah. they had to KNOW that the Lord Jesus was the Messiah because of Genesis 49:10 "The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be." Genesis 49:11 "Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ***'s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:" Genesis 49:12 "His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk."

when the Lord Jesus Rode into Jerusalem on the colt they had to KNOW from the prophecy of Jacob in Genesis 49. because before, when John came, they asked, Luke 3:15 "And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not;" John 1:24 "And they which were sent were of the Pharisees." John 1:25 "And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?" John 1:26 "John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;"

so they ask 3 things, if he was A. the Christ, B. Elijah, and C. that Prophet that like Moses God would raise up among them.
well, they were expecting ........ someone.

but concerning Christ, did not the apostle John wrote, John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." well was not the Manifested G3056 λόγος logos (lo'-ğos) n. that was G4487 ῥήμα rhema (rhee'-ma) n. Luke 3:2 "Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness." so, the same word of God that was G4487 ῥήμα rhema, (ABSTRACT), is now G3056 λόγος logos (lo'-ğos), (CONCRETE).
