The difference between knowing God and knowing about God

I can tell to so many stats and things about Micheal Jordan but I do not know him personally. There are so many people who know things about God but do not know God personally.

Do you know God personally and how can you prove you know Him personally or do you just know facts about Him from what you read in the bible or what a preacher has told you about God ?

One can prove their place in the "body" by how they speak of Jesus Christ. How a person proclaims Jesus Christ is indicative of their own affection for Him. How they speak as servants shows forth their hearts.

The stark realties that are seen in your questions above speak to me. They tell me that you're more concerned in a personal relationship with God than you are in a relationship to those claiming to speak for God.

A man that knows God couldn't ask anything more of his fellow servant. Such a heart finds God. God takes pleasure in such from His own.
