The goal is to make converts to calvinism.

The closet calvinist even Piper knows it about John MacArthur.

Macs sermon the number 1 threat to Christianity amounts to this : denying the truth of the " T " in tulip from a calvinists perspective. Total inability is the number one threat according to Mac. It couldn't be further from the truth. This must go hand in hand with I in tulip and be regenerated first before the hearing and believing of the gospel.

talk about an oxymoron as he didn't preach it for years in his church as the senior pastor. his position as a stealth calvinist for years proves it wasn't necessary.
