Sin in the presence of our Lord

When you receive your glorified body and are in the presence of our Lord, will you be able to sin of your own free will? If so, how? If not, why not?

When Satan came to God in the book of Job, was that sin in the presence of God?

Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
Job 2:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

So you're saying you'll be like Satan?

I'm going to use a few Scriptures like many tend to do as evidence of absolutes.

Luk 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
Luk 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
Luk 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Did angels sin?

You're the one who brought up Satan. Your answer seems to be that we'll be able to sin of our own free will. Does that mean you'll be like Satan?

I've said several things in this thread you've ignored. Why concentrate on this one thing?

It seems as if you would like to concentrate on just a few words "here and there" throughout the Scriptures.

You're asking me about Satan in this manner because you're trying to narrow the discussion instead of actually dealing with all the information relative to the topic.

I've told you many times before that God doesn't fear sin nor the presence of sin.

FYI. Mormons focus upon questions such this to teach that they will rule various "worlds" in the future.

Heb 2:5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

Which is why it is important to operate within the context of the entirety of revelation from the Scriptures.

We know a limited amount of information relative to everything that will take place in our future. No. I have no plans to be like Satan nor do I believe that Satan will even be around.

What argument? I didn't make an argument. I asked a question. You answered it saying Satan can sin in the presence of God, so I assume you mean you'll be like Satan.

The argument you made in the Title of the THREAD....

"Sin in the presence of our Lord"

I don't understand how you're "LOL" when you're the one making all of these mistakes. I don't see a question mark anywhere in...

"Sin in the presence of our Lord"

Do you mind.... maybe using a screen capture and highlight it for me?

Should I "LOL" at you now?

What exactly are you laughing at?

The answer you seek is given in the Bible.

Is 35:8-9
“A highway will be there;
it will be called the Way of Holiness;
it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean will not journey on it;
wicked fools will not go about on it. . . .
But only the redeemed will walk there”

1 Cor 15:26- The last enemy to be destroyed is death

1 John 3:2- When Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is”

Rev 21:4- He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Rev 22:3- And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

So, are you saying that in our glorified bodies we will be unable or unwilling to sin? If so, which? Unable? Unwilling?

Unable , unwilling as John says we will be like Jesus perfect . We will become impeccable. :)

Sin , death and the devil will be history permanently, never again to reappear. They will be done away with in the second death like the Bible teaches.
