The book below argues that the text of the Quran was substantially (not wholly) derived from Syriac Christian Liturgy & Homilies (Saint Ephraim of Syria, for example) and it argues that many "obscure" portions become clear when they are back-translated and interpreted as Syriacisms.

What is the implications of all this?
1. The truth of Christianity overwhelms the Quran.
2. The Quran is text-modified much like the Masoretic Text.
3. The Quran was a conniving attempt by Muslims to "improve on" Christianity as a spiritual basis to build their empires on.
4. Muhammed's demonic-possesed episodes were embellished as prophetic utterances.
5. Mecca was just a desert town of total insignificance, later embellished as the center of the world by Muslims.

He mentions the same book I mentioned in the OP but he doesn't fully understand the significance of the Quran drawing from christian liturgies. Those liturgies were not just some fabled stories but actually declared the Divinity of Jesus. The homilies and hymns of Saint Ephrem the Syrian are renown for worshipping Christ as God. It is Islamic suicide to be accused of that.

Sure. It is easy to prove that Islam is built on fables and embellishments. My OP point is that Syrian Christian Hymns and Homilies is spiritual poison to Islam which cannot be simply dismissed with a simple denial, as Muslims do when confronted with the real historical truth of the Kaaba. That explains their total aversion to any thought that the Quran can have any link to Syrian Christian Hymns and Homilies. That fact is lethal poison spiritually to their religion.

@Johann , I was wondering if this topic would be of any interest to you? The fact that it's being uncovered that the Quran incorporated Syro-Aramaic Christian Liturgical Hymns and transformed them into Arabic Quranic verses.
