No person can come to Christ by their own freewill !

The Bible does teach predestination, but it is not an arbitrary selection of individuals. Rather, God predetermined a plan—that all who obey the gospel through faith, repentance, baptism, and faithful living would be saved.

Romans 8:29-30
“For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son… And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.”

Ephesians 1:5
“He predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will.”

God did not predestine individuals to be saved or lost regardless of their choices.
Instead, God predestined a group—those who obey the gospel—to receive salvation.
Those who conform to the image of Christ Romans 8:29 are the predestined.

So, God’s plan was determined before creation, but each individual must choose to follow Christ by responding to His gospel call.

What you mean ? I have a thread dedicated to the work of Christ

I mean, not as you have posted for you still place limitations on what people can or cannot do and you still maintain some
are kept away from even being allowed to have the Faith that pleases God.

The work of Jesus primarily refers to His role as the Savior, which includes His atoning sacrifice for humanity's sins, His teachings, and His resurrection. This work is essential for reconciliation between God and mankind, providing salvation and hope to believers.

humanity's sins are everyone's sins.

Believer's are those who do accept and believe without constraint of having been lock away from the learning and understanding who the MAN who was lifted up and bled for us was and why.

Not everyone will chose to follow Jesus in belief and faith, but everyone has the opportunity through invitation and the hearing of the word. More so now then at any other time in history. Yet, today, more have chosen a different path... one that leads to destruction... This, in and of itself begs for a thread of its own because it is very deep and intense, and not at all solvable by mortal man.

I will finish now by saying that understanding the work of Jesus is essential for salvation. It has nothing to do with predestination or the locking people out of the blessed hope. It emphasizes the need for faith in His sacrifice and the importance of repentance to receive forgiveness and spiritual renewal.

The biblical teachings that Christ died for all to make universal provision, that we are commanded to preach the gospel to all and so to hold out to all the offer of salvation.

Anyone can make a free will decision to except Christ as their lord and Savior.

To say that a person has a will is to say that a person experiences purpose, intends things, and makes decisions.
And that includes salvation.

Count me in as a child of God, not John Calvin. That's my free will choice.

I am not pretending that the matter is that simple, but I am saying that this ought to be the starting point for exploring the issue. Before we argue about depravity, about whether fallen human beings still possess free wills—or wills at all—we had better say clearly what we mean to affirm or deny in the discussion of free will.

And I offer, now, a basic definition of free will that I think we can use as a starting point for further discussion:

Free Will is a way of saying that a person is capable of making decisions, that a person can choose between two (or more) alternatives when he or she has obtained (by whatever means) the degree of understanding of those alternatives required to choose between them.

Real love and free will are 2 sides of the same coin. Gods love is expressed with the God given free will of man :)

Jesus said some will not come to Him Jn 5:40

40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

The reason for that is simple, they have not been given to Christ by the Father in Divine Election, because Jesus went on to say Jn 6:37

37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Some out of mankind has been given to Christ, pertaining to election, Jn 17:2

2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

These will come to Him that they may have life in contrast to them in Jn 5:40 who will not come ! 10

Men by nature cant comprehend the Light, Its written Jn 1:5

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Man by nature is the darkness Eph 5:8

For ye were sometimes darkness
, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

The word comprehend in Jn 1:5 means :

  1. to lay hold of with the mind
    1. to understand, perceive, learn, comprehend

The gospel brings spiritual light, illuminating the truth of God and revealing the path to life and salvation, which contrasts with the darkness of sin and deception. This light, embodied by Jesus, offers hope, guides people into belief in Jesus, and exposes hidden things, so those who chose follow Him will not walk in darkness but will have the "light of life".

Only if you been born again
It reveals the path to life and salvation. Not all take the path to salvation. If you tale it you will be born again.

Once you hear and the gospel and accept Jesus's offer of salvation you still need to hear the gospel.

Some people believe that the gospel is only useful for evangelism—a message only unbelievers need to hear. Yet the Bible teaches that followers of Jesus need to continue hearing the gospel even after they are born again. Christians should meditate on the gospel every day.

Anyone is able to hear the "Good News".

The gospel of Jesus Christ is literally “Good News.” As news it contains statements of fact and truths derived from those facts. As good news the gospel holds out hope to all based upon promises of God and grounded in the historical facts and truths that vindicate those promises.

The gospel or good news of Jesus Christ is that God the Father, who is holy and righteous in all his ways, is angry with sinners and will punish sin. Man, who disobeys the rule of God, is alienated from the love of God and is in danger of an eternal and agonizing condemnation at the hands of God. But God, who is also rich in mercy, because of his great love, sent his eternal Son born by the Virgin Mary, to die as a ransom and a substitute for the sins of rebellious people.

And now, through the perfect obedience of the Son of God and his willing death on the cross as payment for our sins, all who repent and believe in Jesus Christ, following him as Savior and Lord, will be saved from the wrath of God to come, be declared just in his sight, have eternal life, and receive the Spirit of God as a foretaste of the glories of heaven with God himself.

THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound, Isaiah 61:1

That does not sound like the born again to me.

The poor in spirit are blessed, regenerated , the meek are regenerated, its a fruit of the Spirit Matt 5:3

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Gal 5 22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

So He is anointed to preach the Gospel to the regenerated !
