Merry Christmas

The temperature here in South Carolina yesterday were in the mid seventies, that's spring time temperature~it is hard to think of Christmas with those temperatures!

I do trust all will have a very blessed time with family and friends and the Lord would indeed bless all with a very blessed year with prosperity, peace and good health ~ and truly above all with more love for God , his word and his people.

A special shout out to my old friend @Jim, praying for you my friend that our God would take care of you in this coming year. Also for @FreeInChrist, a special friend as well.

I have taken a break from the forum so I can help a new group of believers just getting their feet off the ground in forming a local body within an hour from me. I'm the old man among them. Some of these dear folks I have known for many years.

I sent this out to the believers that are just getting started in forming a local church close to me, well, within an hour.

Psalms 118:24~“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

This day (nor any day) does not belong to world, but to us and to our children, why, some may ask?

As I get older I come to realize every day is a divine gift, and we must choose to find joy and give thanks, even amidst seemly hardships, as we recognized God's sovereignty over all of our circumstances as a call to live cheerfully as children of light, celebrating His mercies, and praise His work in our lives.

God is indeed directing every aspect of our life, even though we may not consider it as we should, and we allow our spirits to fret over nothing. I have often thought in the last few years that I will die alone with my family, with no one even knowing it, since I had no friends and found myself all alone having no Christians friends that I could relate to and enjoy the things of God with ~but God has proven me wrong.

Consider Joseph...God indeed works in mysterious ways as the song writer said ~ meaning God's plans unfold in ways beyond human comprehension, often turning hardship into blessing.
