Jesus and the apostles shared God's love for everyone. Calvinism on the other hand teaches that God's love is only for a select few.

He will... He's a merciful God that loves us. That's why he sent his son to save us. All you have to do is ask him to come into your heart and he has mercy on you. You don't have to believe that you're one of the elect. That's not what saves you.

Jesus taught that love for God and others is the most important commandment. He showed His love by blessing and serving the poor, the sick, and the distressed, and by laying down His life for us. He commanded His followers to love one another as He loved us, and to obey His teachings. He also taught that love is sacrificial, humble, merciful, and peaceful. Love is the identity of the follower of Jesus
I understand your false statement as there is no love in Calvinism.

It is rather sorry to think that way because it's not what the Bible teaches.
The Bible verses below are FULL of encouragement to live a life overflowing with the love God shows to us.
LOVE

God Asks Us to Love

To make right that which is wrong. To confront evil. To care for the vulnerable.God is Just
Sometimes people fear the idea of a just God because they are personally afraid of His judgment on them, but there is nothing to fear! If you have a relationship with God through His son, Jesus, your sins have been forgiven and you do not have to fear judgment. Rather you can find great comfort in knowing that God will right every wrong and judge evil harshly, not you!
But the Lord reigns forever, executing judgment from his throne. He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness. The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. (Psalm 9:7-9)

God Ask Us to Stand for Justice

In our day, the primitive gospel is no less offensive, for it still contradicts every tenet, or “ism,” of contemporary culture: relativism, pluralism, and humanism and the we love to debate Arminianism and Calvinism.
I think the reason we enjoy the debate here is because we live in an age of relativism—a belief system based upon the absolute certainty that there are no absolutes. We hypocritically applaud men for seeking the truth but call for the public execution of anyone arrogant enough to believe he has found it.

As Christians, we sometimes fail to realize how utterly astounding it is when anyone truly believes our message. In a sense, the gospel is so far-fetched that its spread throughout the Roman Empire is proof of its supernatural nature. What could ever bring a Gentile, completely unaware of Old Testament Scriptures and rooted in either Greek philosophy or pagan superstitions, to believe such a message about a man named Jesus?
Nothing nothing but the love of Jesus. That's what enables us to be Fishers of Men and to share the gospel and not be ashamed.
