Could this be what we see happening now ?

The defense system in Israel from foreign attacks that look like stars falling from the sky ?

Revelation 6:13
and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.
that is the world.. It could be part of it. but the stars cause destruction I think..

ABSOLUTELY NOT

phrase "stars of the sky" represents 'angels'

It is IMPOSSIBLE for Revelation 6:13 to be occurring now because Revelation 6:9-11 has not been fulfilled.

***ONLY***ONLY***ONLY when Revelation 6:9-11 is "completed", only then can the 6th Seal begin
'And when he had opened the fifth seal,
I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain
for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
And they cried with a loud voice, saying,
How long, O Lord, holy and true,
dost Thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

And white robes were given unto every one of them;
and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season,
until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were,
should be fulfilled. '

(Rev 6:9-11)

Hello @DavidTree,

You referenced the verses above in your entry: and I hoped that you, and those engaging with you, would have considered them together. These were martyred saints personified and represented as waiting. They themselves were dead; for in Rev. 20:4, John sees them again. and it says that 'they lived again' in the first resurrection. The rest of the dead 'lived not again until the 1,000 years were finished' (Rev. 20:5). They could not reign with Christ till they lived again: Till then they must wait. Their cry is, 'How long, O Sovereign-Lord, The Holy and True'. Like the blood of Abel is said to have cried out to God from the ground (Gen. 4:10).

They had been killed during the tribulation for refusing to have the mark of the beast. or worship him (Rev.13:7,15; 17:6).

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

This is after Israel on earth has been defeated and lost its power ( Deu 32:36) under the attack of enemies (Deut 32:28-30). What becomes clear is that "his people" or "servants" are those who survived. This is expressed in Isaiah 10:20-23.

Rejoice, O ye nations, with His people
Paul applied this to the New Testament Church in Rom 15 9-11

9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

10 ;And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

Lol You really think that would fool people ? A literal man saying he is God ? I believe most folk would think he is crazy
2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Believing that Satan is God is the falling away in verse 3. Yep, the son of perdition is none other than Satan himself (that man of sin).

So, at the 6th trump, before Jesus Christ returns, Satan will be cast down to the earth, along with his angels, according to Rev. 12:7-9.

Revelation 12:7-12 (NKJV) 7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 “Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

Satan will appear as the Messiah with "all power and signs and lying wonders” (2 Thes. 2:9), performing miracles "in the sight of men” (Rev. 13:13), and he will deceive the whole world into believing he is God (Jesus Christ).

Most people wouldn't believe that. However false teachings about salvation is conducive to satan worship as it attacks the Honor of God, so false teachings are inspired by satan the great deceiver.

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God,
to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
And that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy; as it is written,
For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto Thy Name.
And again He saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with His People.
And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse,
and He that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles;
in Him shall the Gentiles trust.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. '
(Rom 15:8-13)

Hello @brightfame52,

Yes, God foreknew all that would take place, and recorded it for our learning.

Praise His Holy Name!

Hello @mikesw,

I quoted Deuteronomy 32:43, which ends the Song of Moses, because it is the basis for the cry of faith that is made by those martyred saints. Faith is based upon facts, and The Song of Moses with this word of assurance at the end, that God will avenge the blood of His Servants, is the basis of the faith of those martyred saints:- How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost Thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Hello @DavidTree,

What is impressing itself on me as I read the detail of this vision again, is the difference in emphasis between what I said in my last entry, and what is emphasised by the Holy Spirit in these verses. What I said was true, but was not important in the Holy Spirit's eyes, for I had said, They had been killed during the tribulation for refusing to have the mark of the beast. or worship him; yet the Holy Spirit says, through John,' I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held. ' This is of greater importance. The fact that these persons had been slain, 'for the word of God', and 'for the testimony which they held'.

The Beast, the False Prophet, and Satan himself all have an end: but this sacrificial offering, that these people offered of themselves to God will last for eternity. So it is a cause of rejoicing, and not dismay. Their reward will be to be raised to life again, and reign with Christ for 1000 yrs. These are the saints of The Most High God. They lift Him high, do we?

Praise God!

Hello @DavidTree,

These persons, are given, in vision, white robes: robes of honour always forming part of reward (e.g., Zech. 3:5). This implies that their call for action will receive the response due: yet there would be a delay in it's operation because more were to be added to their number . Fellow servants, their brethren who would make the same supreme sacrifice. These will be killed, as they were, during the tribulation period, for not receiving the mark of the Beast, or worshipping him.

Matthew 24 shows us the whole period of the six seals:-
Matt. 24: 4 & 5 - (1st seal) The False Christ - Rev. 6:1-2.
Matt. 24: 6 & 7 - (2nd seal) Wars - Rev. 6:3-4.
Matt. 24:. 7 - (3rd seal) Famines - Rev. 6:5-6.
Matt. 24:7 - (4th seal) Pestilences - Rev. 6:7-8.
Matt. 24:. 8-28 - (5th seal) Martyrdoms - Rev. 6:9-11.
Matt. 24:. 29-30 - (6th seal) Sign in Heaven of Advent - Rev. 6:12-17.

'Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened,
and the moon shall not give her light,
and the stars shall fall from heaven,
and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:
and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn,
and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven
with power and great glory.
And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet,
and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds,
from one end of heaven to the other. '

(Mat 24:29-31)

Hello @civic,

We are back to your OP again now, to the stars falling from heaven, which takes place immediately after the tribulation of those days.

'And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal,
and, lo, there was a great earthquake;
and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair,
and the moon became as blood;
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth,
even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs,
when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;
and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men,
and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man,
hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us,
and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne,
and from the wrath of the Lamb:
For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

(Rev 6:12-17)
