Do Christians have non negotiable beliefs, and if so, what are they? Ask yourselves, “When it comes to my beliefs, what is important and why?”

Look at Trinity for instance and how there is only one God but he shows himself in three different ways The Father, The Son, and Holy Spirit. The idea of the Trinity confronts us with a lead of faith. We have to have a little faith to believe God is who He say he is.

Tell us what are one of your nonnegotiable beliefs and lets discuss it.

How about The Divinity and Humanity of Jesus Christ? That Jesus Christ is unique in that He is both fully God and fully man. I think this belief is critical because it underpins the entirety of the gospel message. His divinity means He is sinless and able to save humanity, while His humanity means He can fully empathize with our struggles.

John 1:1, 14: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.”

Colossians 2:9: “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.”

I'll make a stand for the Trinity as I believe it is central to Christian belief. It teaches that there is one God in three persons: the Father, the Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. This concept is foundational because it shapes our understanding of God’s nature and His work in the world.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13:14

The Trinity also highlights the relational aspect of God. The Father creates, the Son redeems, and the Holy Spirit sanctifies, working together in perfect unity.

For me there are a great many. The things I first discovered in my studies when first saved and through the years have been because of study. I've read many published works of the last one hundred years and also the classics like those whom God used to advance our learning of this "so-great salvation" it has been an incredible journey for me as it has been for others in the body. When I see a need to add comment I do so mostly when I read someone say a wrong thing about the One True God. So, wherever you see me commenting or starting new threads I am probably standing upon the knowledge God has given me through my studies and investigating others published and unpublished, even at places like this. So, here's one:

The Hebrew Scripture that we call the Old Testament records God dealing with men and then with certain men (and women.) And this is a fact. I have come a long way to believe in the things I do in Scripture and there is one thing that stands out that needs answering. The Bible from Genesis to Revelation is a record of God dealing with certain people in history and later He establishes what in time will come to be understood as salvation covenant, particularly the covenant God has with the Hebrew people from Abram the Hebrew going forward to his offspring up and until when Israel's Messiah, Lord, and King arrives sent by God to the Hebrew people. God Promised to send a Redeemer, a "Prophet like unto Moses" that the people will hear (and obey, and He did that in sending His own Son. All Scripture we call the Bible is wrapped up around God redeeming, Delivering, and saving a people for Himself, a Bride, a Church, and an atoned people who've had their iniquities forgiven and His Promise to remember them no more.

This is Israel's blessing. It's their covenant. Jesus is their King. It's their inheritance.
And because of early misunderstanding immediately after the destruction of the Jewish Temple by the Romans in AD 70, Gentiles have come alongside the Jews and have even taken away their inheritance, made everything Hebrew and Jewish and made it Gentile. I would presume that God would have dealt with them if Gentiles had anything coming to them of God, but in my study of Scripture I find that He has not. I cannot find any covenant promises to non-Hebrew Gentiles in the Bible, specifically the Old Testament, that even comes close to God making a salvation covenant with them. I can't find any such covenant between the God of Abraham and non-Hebrew Gentiles. There is no history of any such intimate relationship between God and non-Hebrew Gentiles. If there was there would be a record, prominent names of prominent people through their history, there would even be a Bible record, but there is none of that. In short, they would have their own relationship with God like the Hebrew people do. But none of those things exist.

I study the Hebrew Scripture, Genesis to Revelation, and this is what I've found, and what I've found MISSING, and that is a covenant of salvation between the God of Abraham and non-Hebrew Gentiles. Exegetically speaking, it doesn't exist, nor has God piggy-backed Gentiles on the relationship of covenants and prophecies and Promises of the Hebrew people. Especially when I find no such arrangement in Scripture.

The Preeminence of Jesus Christ is non-negotiable.

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

πρωτεύων is a interesting study. Unique. "Coined" if you will for Christ. It carries forth concepts of "the first born" while combining the superiority of Eternal qualties of "first ranking" without end.

1Co 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

And as hard as this is for some people His Deity is a non- negotiable. Had He not been man He could not of made atonement, died in our place for our sins, had He not been God He could not of been the Savior of the world.

Psalm 47:9- No man can possibly redeem his brother or pay his ransom to God.

Also the true gospel and defining what this actually is and is not. For example some within Christianity associate PSA with the gospel and it being an "essential" and also tulip as being the gospel. We see this on our forum.

Another non negotiable is the physical, material, literal, bodily Resurrection of Jesus the heart of the gospel message. He rose bodily with the scars from His crucifixion as evidence/proof it was the same body which died that was Resurrected Immortal, Incorruptible- with no decay as prophecied. He will return in that same glorified physical human body at His Glorious 2nd Coming as we read in Scripture. He must remain human, to be our Prophet, Priest and King. :)

To deny the above is to have a false gospel, a belief in a false christ.

In his book Knowing God, Dr. J. I. Packer tells us that Bible study helps us because the God who interacted with the characters of Scripture is the same God who cares for us today. “The God with whom they had to do is the same God with whom we have to do,” wrote Packer, “for God does not change in the least particular.” His character does not change; His truth does not change; His ways do not change; His purposes do not change.

“God does not change,” said Packer. “Fellowship with Him, trust in His Word, living by faith, standing on the promises of God, are essentially the same realities for us today as they were for the Old and New Testament believers. This thought brings comfort as we enter into the perplexities of each day.”

You can count on this —it’s as predictable as God Himself: He is unchanging. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

All change must be to the better or the worse. But God cannot change to the better, since He is absolutely perfect; neither can He change to the worse, for the same reason.

I like Dr. David Jeremiah, he is a very good teacher of God's Word.

Something to think about.

Several times in Scripture God has changed His mind and did not do what He said He would do and "repented".

And God became man permanently. That is a change in the 2nd Person of the Trinity. :)

But aswas pointed out Gods character does not changed. His innate attributes/character are immutable.

He who believes not the testimony that God gave of the Son , calls GOD A LIAR .
DO we really think such a one has truth in them no matter how lovey do they may have appeared and perhaps
cause they gave money to poor .
In fact to even imply the idea cometh of anti christ . TO even implant the idea its okay in any way
if one did not believe on JESUS , that one is co worker to anti christ .
Wolves in wool have decieved this people with false love to make the road broad .

Dig deeper and the truth shall become clearer . GOD himself HAD TOLD THEM
if they do repent , HE WILL repent of the evil he thought to do to them .
SO GOD DONT change . and WE should be so thankful HE dont either .
HIS MIND always was IF one repents GOOD upon them , IT NOT evil unto them .
TO the trenches civic . To the trenches for that which is of anti christ has waged a dark
and unholy war and through means of a sensual love has taken captive many .

We see that GOD has always desired the GLORY .
HE has always desired obediance .
AND because HE IS LOVE He has given man a way out of the total damnation and destruction and death
HE so earned and so deserved . JESUS the GLORIOUS CHRIST . HE IS THE ANSWER
HE IS the WAY , HE IS THE TRUTH
and GOD IS HIS WORD . TO the trenches civic the hour is later than even it was yesterday .
The end cometh and evil will be destroyed . All who denied HIM in mouth and in deed
Will wail as their destruction comes upon them .
A paradise with GOD ALL MIGHTY awaits the sheep .
Trench on till the last breath being faithful unto HE who has called us and saved us to the end .

When one giveth even a millimeter unto the satan , He will become the whole ruler .
To compromise a word of the LORD is deadly and a serious and fatal mistake
as it will only lead to more leaven , lest one quickly repents of said error .
To compromise the words of CHRIST is to DENY HIM
and if one denies CHRIST , they have denied GOD .
THEREFORE i shall like what is a wise man
and what is a foolish man .
HE who comes to ME and hears my words and does them is like unto a man
that digged real deep and laid his HOUSE on a FOUNDATION .
But he who hears and does not
HAD NO FOUNDATION and that house will surely fall .

Some might say to me , MAN on the path you are on that refuses to compromise a word of the LORD
you gonna suffer big time in this world .
TO which i say THE SHEEP DONT COMPROMISE even if it costs them the loss of all and even their own life .
