Can you evict God from living within you?

1 Corinthians 3:16 Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

If so; how was he able to come in the first place?

When you become completely sold out for Jesus. When you let go of any doubt and you know that you know that you know that he is King of Kings and and Lord of Lords. When you start studying his word And hopefully have the opportunity to sit under a good teacher.

Then when the things in the Bible start becoming real to you and you have a desire to share it. When you learn about worship and praise. And Christian Fellowship let's don't leave that out.

At that point He is your life and you have become completely sold out for Jesus.

Thank you for the response Azriel, I believe those are wonderful things, but is it possible that something could happen that, perhaps one could evict God from them?

Only if you're the stronger man.

Mark 3:27
In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.

No, Jesus said I'll never leave you nor forsake you. I believe you can temporarily become that one lost land but he'll leave the 99 to come and get you. I believe you can become The Prodigal Son and end up feeding pigs but when you come to your senses you go back to your father's house even if you would be a slave there. Which is not the case because they threw a big party for him and brought out the nicest robe for him to wear.

God's not tenant. He's the master we are the bond servants. We are Eternally Secure.

Thank you for your answer.

Here are two more questions I still have though Azriel.

What caused God to move into a person anyway? Can a person decide to give that up?

That was before they discovered gunpowder. But seriously folks we have Jesus on the inside working on the outside what a Mighty God we serve. We're more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who strengthens us. That's as strong as you can get right there. We have the victory.

What do you mean? How did God move into a person in the first place, sawdust?

Please Azriel, Sawdust, anyone who comes by. Seriously consider what is being asked in the first post. Despite all your knowledge of what you know; focus on what is being asked. Can a person evict God from dwelling within them?

You can try but what happens is when you realize the consequences of the decision you made to walk away from Jesus and how it's gone all downhill you regret doing that and you want to go home. As far as for what causes a person to do that hey it could be one of a million things, battlefield of the mind.

I disagree with you. Wish you would have also answered my other question as well, it is okay.

I believe a person with a willful heart who says I do not desire anything to do with you anymore God and i dont no longer accept your son. You can have God move out from within you.

People believe that is unimaginable. However it happens due to the deceitfulness of sin @Azriel. Did you know that?

As I stated in my previous post it can temporarily happen but it doesn't affect their salvation they'll come back to being in union with Christ.

Anyone who tells God they don't want anything to do with him anymore were never saved. Had they been saved their lives would have changed. These are the ones Jesus was talking about when he said depart from me I never knew you. You can't undo what God has done. If he's brought you into his kingdom you're in. You can't just walk out. We serve a mighty God. He's no pushover. One part I mentioned only briefly. It's called getting taken to the woodshed. When you turn your back on God and think you're going to just walk away scot-free you going to be in for a big surprise. Chastisement. Prodigal son he was partying down on his inheritance and look where he ended up he was not only just feeding pigs he was looking for Morsels in that pig slop for himself. That might have been quite a shock for a young Jewish man.

People say that alot, i disagree. Youre a smart person, and that is good and im glad you are a student of the bible.

I agree with you about them having the ability to have God come back into them, by and through and accepting the son; however to suggest they were never saved is a false tradition people tend to continue to spout today.

“For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

I was wondering how long it was going to take to finally get here. Although I did mention it earlier. So we're talking about eternal security. There's already a huge thread on eternal security. That answers your above post thoroughly. I'll be posting there on this topic if you want to join in.

No. That is not what we are talking about. Youre not very good at communicating with me, therefore I am just gonna go ahead and shut down the conversation. You have a good rest of your night.

Do you want to answer how God moves into someone by chance @Azriel?
I actually did. Post #12

But here's another one

1 John 4:16
16 We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains [meno] in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

The text says it right there.
