Arminian perspective on Gods Sovereignty and mans free will

God does not think anyone is special.. That's why he determined all under sin.

God did not put you on a pedistool

He will offer you his grace gift. But its up to you to recieve it.
Yes God does think His elect people are special and above all other people. Deut 7:6-7

6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7 ;The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

2 Thess 2:10-12

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Mans will isn't free from its love of darkness and hatred of the Truth, so the non elect, unregenerate will not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved, for its written Jn 3:19

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 ;For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

See the Gospel is Light 2 Cor 4 4

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

This light of the Glorious Gospel of Christ, man naturally loves darkness over and above it, it even hates the Light, except a sovereign work of God intervenes, which Jesus spoke of earlier , the New Birth Vs 3-8,

Mans will isnt free from its love of unrighteousness
Um you missed this

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Man Loves darkness over the the light of the Truth ,so they dont receive the Truth nor have no love for it. I just touched on that

It's your free will that makes you are a sinner.
I agree without reservation but I must ask...
then how do infants in the womb die, ie, receive the wages for sin, (death is not just a natural consequence of life) IF they are just newly created as tabula rasa with no possibility of sinning by their free will??

Death proves sinfulness.
Infants die.
Therefore infants in the womb are sinful.
When do you think they made a free will choice to be sinful in GOD's sight to receive the wages for sin if they did not live and make a decision before their conception?

Excuse me, there are angels created in the image of GOD who are both elect and holy:
1 Timothy 5:21 I charge thee before GOD and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the ELECT angels.

Mark 8:38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the HOLY angels.

Holy and elect
- pretty special when everyone else CHOSE BY THEIR FREE WILL, NOT BY HIS WILL, to be sinful in HIS sight.

HE determined no one to be a sinner...
Ecclesiastes 7:29 Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright (righteous); but they have sought out many inventions (thoughts, plans, devices, a contrivance actual or mental) ie, sins.

He will offer you his grace gift. But its up to you to recieve it.
HE does not seem to offer it to everyone:

Paul said to the Corinthians, "But if our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the image of God should shine unto them" 2 Corinthians 4:3,4. but HE allows the god of this world to hide it from some people, here called the lost, who are probably those condemned already, Jn 3:18.

These and other questions like -- do all people who lived before Christ go to hell? -- I simply trust the goodness of the Lord, His mercy, His justice.

Hebr 9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,

Does His mercy stop for those people?

Speaking for myself, I think not.

1 Petr 3:15 - but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,

Again - Then what has made you a sinner ?
My Hope is in the Gospel, I have been testifying of it in this forum. Col 1:5,23

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Do you want more detail on this Gospel ?

Actually, some do receive the truth, and they become children of God.

John 1:12 (LEB) — 12 But as many as received him—to those who believe in his name—he gave to them authority to become children of God,

If some receive the truth, its evident it was wrought in God Jn 3:20-21

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Meaning they had been regenerated before, otherwise they would hate the light and love the darkness

Sorry they received him

John 1:12 (LEB) — 12 But as many as received him—to those who believe in his name—he gave to them authority to become children of God,

Nothing is stated about they were made to receive him

and your verse says nothing about them being regenerated previously to receiving him

It is regeneration that makes one a child of God, and they received that right when they received Christ

John 1:12 (LEB) — 12 But as many as received him—to those who believe in his name—he gave to them authority to become children of God,

They received Him after being born again and given a new nature that gravitates to the light.

I submit that being reborn into the Spirit of GOD restores our free will with the ability to make true righteous decisions.

But we still have to be sanctified, that is, weaned from our memories of the pleasures and profits of sin by the training in righteousness by serious chastisements as we read in Heb 12:5-11.

You won’t get any personal testimony/ witness how Jesus changed , transformed their life.
