Promise #220:
My love is bigger than you imagine.

Ephesians 3:20-21
20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. 21 Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen! TPT

My love for you is infinitely bigger than anything you could ever imagine dear child. My mercy is immeasurably greater than your wildest dreams. And My kindness towards you exceeds anything that you could possibly hope for. And it is your everlasting inheritance in your forever union with My beloved Son.

I have sealed you with My own Spirit to guarantee this for all eternity. And My power that is at work in you will continue to enlarge the ocean of your own heart, so you will have increasing capacity to contain all My goodness. If this sounds too good to be true, it isn't My precious heir. This is the gospel that Jesus came to proclaim, and it is your royal birthright in Christ.

So I want you to live in this present reality today and not be influenced by any other voice that would tell you otherwise. For even in this very moment, you are seated safe and secure at My right hand, hidden in Christ, far above anything that could ever hinder your eternal relationship with Me.

I am tenderhearted towards all that I have made.

Psalm 145:9 (WEB)
Yahweh is good to all.
His tender mercies are over all his works.

The NLT reads Psalm 145:9 this way: The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation. What a loving Father we have! He is good and kind and compassionate to all that He has made! I have heard it said that God is the nicest person in the universe! Every day, He showers His compassion on us without many of us even being aware of His tender mercies.

In the Garden of Eden, the serpent enticed Adam and Eve into questioning God's goodness. In everyday life, the enemy of our souls will try to do the same thing: "Is God really good?" "If He loved you, why would you suffer like you are?" etc.

I don't know many things, but I do know that my God and Father is good! He is gentle and loving and full of mercy towards you and me. If you ever question God's goodness, watch a sunrise or sunset. Look at how our Father feeds the birds and pours out his rain in due season. He is indeed tenderhearted and is good to all He has made! ... And that includes us!

Promise #146:
I will show you the mysteries of My kingdom.

Matthew 13:11 (WEB)
He answered them, “To you it is given to know
the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven,
but it is not given to them.

In today's passage of Scripture, Jesus tells His disciples that it was His Father's plan for them to know the mysteries of the kingdom. Jesus had just finished telling the crowds the parable of the sower and the seed, and then He took the time to explain to His beloved friends the meaning of this story.

Jesus did this because it wasn't His intention to keep His disciples in the dark. His desire (and His Father's desire) is always to deepen our level of revelation of the vastness of the kingdom in which we are called to live. He doesn't want us to be left in the dark, as we are called to be children of light!

It gives our Father great pleasure to give us His kingdom. (Luke 12:32) In John 5:19-20, Jesus made this statement... 19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. (NIV)

Our God and Father loves to show us what He is doing through the Spirit that He has given us. May each of us experience a growing revelation of the mysteries of the wonderful kingdom of God in the days ahead, and with childlike awe and wonder, be completely amazed by our Dad's goodness.

Promise #147:
Those who overcome will eat from the tree of life in paradise.

Revelation 2:7 (WEB)
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.
To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life,
which is in the Paradise of my God.

In chapters 2 and 3 of the book of Revelation, we read how Jesus has a specific message for seven of the churches that existed during that time. The words that Jesus spoke to these churches were very sobering indeed, but I think it is important to remember that each one of His messages ended with a promise.

In today's Scripture passage, Jesus concludes His exhortation to the church at Ephesus with the promise that those who overcome will eat of the tree of life in the garden of God. This is an incredible promise of complete restoration for all those who are in Christ. Everything in humanity's history began in a garden, and it was from those lofty heights that Adam and Eve fell. It has always been God's heart to restore His people to all that was lost the day Adam and Eve left the garden.

In today's promise, Jesus reminds us that those who overcome will be restored to even greater glory than what Adam and Eve enjoyed before their fall. No matter how difficult life may get here on Earth, may we all be reminded that our destiny is to live forever, fully restored to all that our Father originally intended for us. Because of the completed work of our Elder Brother Jesus, you and I will one day taste the choicest fruit from the tree of life itself. Hallelujah!

Responsive Prayer:

Father, thank you for your promise of eternal life in the everlasting union I share with your beloved Son. I pray that hope will arise in my heart today, knowing that I have an inheritance lasting forever in the paradise you designed for me to inhabit for all eternity. May the realization of this truth overshadow any hardship I face this side of heaven.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Promise #149:
Those who are pure in heart will see My face.

Matthew 5:8 (WEB)
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God.

In the Old Testament, a person could not look on the face of God and live to tell about it. Even Moses, who was one of God's closest friends, couldn't gaze upon the Lord's face and survive. Yet in this passage from the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus tells us that those who are pure in heart will see God face to face.

The reason we can see God without being consumed is due to Jesus and the price He paid for His life to become our life. Through His death and resurrection, His righteousness has become our righteousness. The Bible states that we are hidden with Christ in God right now! (Colossians 3:1-3) Jesus' holiness has also become our holiness, and Jesus' Father is now our Father (John 20:17).

My prayer today is that the Spirit of God would make the benefits of our salvation more real to us than ever before. Because of Jesus, we now have access to the throne room of God 24/7 without the fear of being consumed. We can boldly approach our God and Father confidently, night or day, because we have full access to Him in Christ! ...Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God!

Responsive Prayer:

Father, thank you for welcoming me into your throne room day or night, so I can behold your face. For in your presence is fullness of joy, and at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. I pray that the fire of your love would consume any feelings of shame or condemnation I struggle with, so I can approach your presence with boldness, any time, day or night.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Promise #150:
I began the good work in you and I will finish it.

Philippians 1:6 (WEB)
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you
will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Before the foundation of the world, God set a plan in motion. He saw you and me, making provision through His Son, Jesus Christ, for us to be born into His family. (Ephesians 1:3-6) It was because of His great love for us that He devised a plan for us to perform the good works that He prepared for us even before the world was created. (Ephesians 2:10)

It has always been His work, not ours. It is God's heart, God's vision, and God's power that will bring about all that He has planned and purposed in our lives. That is why the Apostle Paul encourages the Philippians in today's promise to be confident in knowing that the One who began a good work in them would perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

The NIV Bible says that God... will carry it on to completion; the NLT Bible says that God ...will continue his work until it is finally finished. Whatever translation you prefer, be encouraged in knowing that God has committed His whole heart to you finishing your race.

He began the good work in you, and He will complete it on the day that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ returns to bring us home.

Responsive Prayer:

Father, thank you for your faithful love and your eternal commitment to completing what you started in my life. Help me to rest in the promise that you will continue to empower me to fulfill all that you have planned and purposed for my life in Christ. Help me today to simply cooperate with that good work.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Promise #151:
You can rest in My promise of eternal life, for I cannot lie.

Titus 1:2 (WEB)
in hope of eternal life, which God, who can’t lie,
promised before time began;

Paul begins his letter to Titus with two verses quoted from the English Standard Version Bible: 1 Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the sake of the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness, 2 in hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began (ESV).

Paul wrote this message to Titus two thousand years ago, and two thousand years later, it is still as relevant as it was when he first penned the words. We can all hope in the promise of eternal life that God promised before the world began, because God cannot lie. We can rest in this rock-solid truth whether our emotions agree with it or not, because the promise is based on God's faithfulness, not ours!

I don't know about you, but for me, it is encouraging to know that my eternal destiny is secure not because of my own self-effort, but because I have a Father who is unwavering in His commitment to keep His promises. So take a deep breath and relax. You are loved beyond imagination, and the One who created you has prepared an eternal place for you to live forever in His presence. May hope rise up in all our hearts today as we reflect on this amazing promise.

***
Responsive Prayer:

Father, thank you for the promise of eternal life that you have given to me through my union with your beloved Son. You are the ultimate promise keeper who cannot lie or change your mind, so today I want to simply rest in the finished work of all that Christ has done for me, both today and throughout eternity.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Promise #152:
My love is everlasting and My faithfulness extends to all generations.

Psalm 100:5 (WEB)
For Yahweh is good. His loving kindness endures forever,
his faithfulness to all generations.

Our God and Father is good, and His mercy endures forever. The more you and I are convinced of God's goodness, the more we will yield to the extravagant love He showers upon us each day.

The enemy of our soul tries to portray God as a distant, angry, religious, and wrathful judge just waiting for us to make a mistake. That is the furthest thing from the truth, for God is the ultimate expression of love itself. At the very core of our Heavenly Father's heart is a goodness that none of us have experienced on this side of heaven. That is why it is so hard for some of us to believe that God's love is truly real.

My prayer today is that the Holy Spirit will grant all of us a deeper revelation of His goodness so that we can shout out alongside the psalmist in today's promise and say... For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. (ESV)

Responsive Prayer:

Father, thank you for your everlasting love and faithfulness that extend to all generations, including mine. I pray that I see you rightly through the lens of your immeasurable love in Christ, so I may not fear you in any way. Help me to draw close to your embrace even in this very moment, for you are good and your loving kindness endures forever.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Promise #153:
My righteousness towers like the mountains and My justice goes deep as the sea.

Psalm 36:6 (WEB)
Your righteousness is like the mountains of God.
Your judgments are like a great deep.
Yahweh, you preserve man and animal.

All creation is continually speaking of our Father's kindness. In today's promise, King David proclaims that the righteousness of our God rises like the majestic mountains of the earth, and His justice reaches as deep as the deepest part of the sea.

In Psalm 103:11-12, David continues this comparison when he declares... 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. (ESV)

If we seek it, every aspect of nature helps us understand the greatness of our God. The mountains proclaim His righteousness, the seas declare His justice. The birds and the flowers illustrate His daily provision. Thunder and lightning reveal His majesty. May each of us hear God speaking in all that surrounds us in this magnificent world we inhabit.

As Jesus told us in Matthew 6:26... Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? (ESV) All of creation bears witness to the amazing love of our Heavenly Dad. May we freshly see His goodness today as we appreciate all that He has created.

***
Responsive Prayer:

Father, thank you for creating this beautiful world for me to live in. Help me to have eyes that see your beauty revealed in every expression of nature surrounding me. May every bird and every flower remind me of your enduring provision today, and may I never lose the awe and wonder of the world around me.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Promise #154:
My Word will not return to me until it accomplishes what I intended.

Isaiah 55:10-11 (WEB)
10 For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do.

In today's promise, God says that His Word is poured out onto the earth just as rain and snow fall in their appointed seasons. God intends to nourish every kind of seed so that it blossoms to its full potential. His Word serves a similar purpose for us. We can absorb everything that He says and receive every word that He speaks. Jesus told us... 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'

It is my prayer today that we all become aware of how God is speaking to us at this moment. I believe we can attune our hearts to the voice of God, much like we adjust our radio's frequency to connect with our favorite station. If we are not tuned into our Father's frequency, we may miss out on what He is saying. As Jesus said to the churches in Revelation 2 and 3... "To him who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying."

Amid the hustle and bustle of our lives today, may each of us quiet our hearts for a moment and listen to what God wants to say to us. Take comfort in knowing that every word our Father speaks will not return to Him empty, but will achieve what it sets out to do!

***
Responsive Prayer:

Father, thank you for always speaking to me, even during times of silence. Help me listen and understand what your Spirit is communicating through each of my life experiences. The truth is that I am not alone in this world; you are closer than I could ever imagine, and you love to share your heart with me in so many different ways. Help me listen more attentively today than ever before.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Promise #155:
When I open My hand, I provide for all that I have created.

Psalm 145:16 (WEB)
You open your hand,
and satisfy the desire of every living thing.

Consider this promise: When God opens His hand, He provides for everything He created! Sometimes, when I ask for daily provision, it feels as though I expect a big miracle. However, the truth is that fathers provide for their children. Since God is the perfect Father, He has committed to providing for all that He has made.

Unfortunately, we still witness unimaginable suffering worldwide. As far as I know, God has provided sufficient food to nourish every individual on the planet. The problem lies not with Him, but with those responsible for managing the Earth's resources.

If we were only willing to share the wealth of resources that God has given us, there would be no starvation. It isn't God who isn't providing; rather, it is a world full of orphan-hearted people who aren't willing to share what they have received.

When it comes to our daily provision, we need not look to our own resources for answers, but to the unlimited resources that come from heaven. May we all echo the prayer that Jesus taught us to pray to our Father, as taught in the Lord's Prayer, and say... "Give us this day our daily bread."

If Jesus said that we should ask our Father daily for provision, then we need to connect our faith with the expectation that He hears our prayers and will be faithful to provide... Just by opening His hand!

***
Responsive Prayer:

Father, thank you for faithfully providing for all you have created, simply because you are a good Father who loves to care for His children. I pray that I will not live in fear of lack, but that I would live a trusting life, knowing full well that if you feed the birds of the air and clothe the lilies of the field, you will certainly look after me too!

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
