'And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea:
who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica,
in that they received the word with all readiness of mind,
and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.'
(Act 17:10-11)
Hello there,
I have been looking at the book of Ephesians, in my Bible, which is KJV, but entitled, 'The Companion Bible', and compiled largely by Dr. E.W. Bullinger. It has marginal notes and appendices which I find useful, but as with all of these things, care must be taken to check all things, like the Bereans of old (Acts 17:11).
What I particularly like are the structures of the books within it's pages, all of them have their structures displayed, so that you can see at a glance the subject matter laid out for comparison. At the back, in the appendix, No. 198 there is a structure of Scripture in it's entirety. This is the link to it, should you be interested:- https://levendwater.org/companion/append198.html
There comes to my mind a booklet, which is an introduction to the Structures of Scripture by a man named, Andrew H. Morton. It is entitled, 'The Scriptures Testify of Me'. Here is the link should you wish to follow it up. I can recommend it:-

* If anyone has anything to comment about the structures to be found forming naturally, by subject matter etc., I would like to hear what you have to say.
Within the love of Christ our Saviour,
our Lord and Head,
Now risen and glorified,
And sat at God's right had.
